We are a wedding venue surrounded by gorgeous country landscape, and conveniently located in Southwest Michigan. We can accommodate up to 250 guests and allow your vendors of choice. You get our venue from 11am-11pm on day of your event and an additional 4hrs for rehersal and early setup the day prior. We have onsite heated and cooled bathrooms and our completely renovated changing area.

Sherwood Gardens is a progressive & inclusive venue welcoming traditional as well as non traditional weddings & ceremonies. The 10 acre estate is located in the City of Plainwell offering conveniences of the city while maintaining a secluded natural environment. The weekend estate rental includes 3 days & 2 nights lodging providing guests with a relaxed experience and ample time for preparation, celebrations, & cleanup. Estate rental includes full use of the Event Barn, grounds, & house. The 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom house sleeps up to 16 guests, & is perfect for the family & wedding parties to get ready & stay for the weekend. A weekend stay allows parties additional time in the Event Barn for set up, decorating, & rehearsal dinner as well as cleanup. The expansive grounds include several flower gardens, as well as open lawns, with wooded surroundings creating a picturesque outdoor space for ceremonies & entertaining guests. Dine and dance the night away with your guests in one of our gorgeous restaurant/loft locations with exposed wood posts and beams, or under the stars in our quaint apple orchard with your own customized arrangements and décor. Rental price includes day before event to set up, event day and day after to tear down. Tables and chairs for 130 provided. Access to museum property for ceremony and pictures. The outdoor space features 10 acres of beautiful gardens, trees, a pond, a lighted fountain, a water feature, and an old windmill. We are revitalizing the former vineyard.
