The property was originally part of a land grant from Lord Fairfax in 1716 to the Kincheloe family and has been passed down through generations since. The property features a 1700’s log cabin, which was renovated in 1955 by a protégé of Frank Lloyd Wright. The Winery, which hosts a tasting room of rustic elegance, a bridal loft and barrel room, is an Amish structure, crafted with the best hardwoods. Based on the tradition of raised barns, the structure has a vibe from years long passed. Natural materials were used throughout the building, including local stone, black walnut from the property, and handcrafted metalwork. A fieldstone fireplace provides a warm and cozy atmosphere on chilly nights or quiet winter days.

We are so happy to have our new events space, the Loft, completed! This entire area is separate from the winery and offers a quiet, secluded place to say your vows and celebrate. Weddings flow effortlessly from the Ceremony Garden, to the Bar & Barrel room and patio – complete with bistro lights – for cocktails. Receptions take place on the main level, with it's beautiful neutral decor.
