Clients booking weddings, anniversaries and other celebrations have a choice of the Veranda with views of the gardens, Banquet Room with its own glimmering fire or, weather permitting, the gardens with a white party tent if needed. The menu varies from Italian to French to American, all done with a Scandinavian touch. Mikael and Alicia will meet with you to discuss the logistics and "tailor-make" a menu to suit your taste.

Created by pioneering artist and professor Harvey Fite, Opus 40 is a world-famous sculpture park and museum with nearly 60 acres of meadows, forested paths and bluestone quarries — including 6.5 acres of earthwork sculpture — in the heart of the Hudson Valley. We welcome guests from April through November, and host live music and theatrical performances — all with the majestic Catskill Mountains as the backdrop. “In a culture of disposability,” notes David Wallis in The New York Times, not only does Opus 40 constitute “what Architectural Digest described as one of ‘the most beguiling works of art on the entire continent,’ but stands as a monument to discipline and hard work.” Considered by many to be the Stonehenge of North America, Opus 40 welcomes more than 20,000 visitors each year. The Pruyn House is the Cultural and Historical Center for the Town of Colonie. We have a five and 1/2 acre property, including the House, the Buhrmaster Barn, the Verdoy Schoolhouse and several other buildings. We provide access to the Barn for the reception, the garden for the ceremony, the birch grove for the cocktail hour and dressing areas in the Pruyn House and the Verdoy Schoolhouse. Tables and chairs are included. All else must be provided through rental services and catering. We have one security person who will be on site throughout your event. All else provided by caterer or rental service.

There is also an additional lounge seating area if some of your guests would like to relax with a bit of quiet time. Antique chandeliers accent the hardwood floors, walls and beams providing the rustic character that compliments the temperature controlled AC and heat to enable us to provide year-round events. In addition to the barn, deck, and ceremony space, the onsite 4 bedroom (7 queen beds) restored farmhouse is included in the venue for the weekend. A Friday check in enables you to prepare yourself for the big day and set up the space in the barn with any decor. The house is yours for the entire weekend for up to 8 guests. The West Gallery comfortably accommodates between 50 and 150 guests for dinner and dancing, while the adjacent Garden Lawn may also be rented for a ceremony overlooking the perennial gardens. For your convenience, the rental includes tables and chairs, a caterer’s kitchen, air conditioning, ample restroom facilities, and easy parking. Locust Grove only schedules one event each evening, so you and your guests are assured privacy.

Hawks Landing CC is located in the lush central CT river valley in Southington. Because of our location we are an easy ride no matter where you are coming from within the state. The Bella Vista banquet facility is host to more than 50 weddings a year. Several on site wedding ceremonies are featured in the gallery section on this website. The Bella Vista is a glass faced facade overlooking our sprawling golf course. The cathedral, wooden ceiling room can entertain up to 220 guests. Our spacious bridal suite is located the Fairway Room and is a favorite place for many of our brides. We can even accommodate your "First Look" on the private patio. We can serve an elegant Chicken Milanese, Freshly carved Prime Rib, a Mahi Mahi fish delicacy or Twin Stuffed Lobster tails. You're sure to find something on our menu that will make you smile.
