I have been a full time wedding photographer for over a decade, photographing many couples over the years as their families grow. I have photographed weddings from Florida to Maine as well as at a fairy tale castle in England.

Much to my delight, as a sophomore in high school, I was mistakenly placed into a senior level photography class. Since then I have never been without a camera. I graduated in 1993, with a BFA in Photography from University of the Arts in Philadelphia, PA. Before becoming a full-time photographer, I worked for a decade in journalism in the US and internationally as an Art Director and Creative Director at the Philadelphia Weekly, The Wall Street Journal and WSJ.com. After leaving journalism in 2004, I opened my own studio in Manhattan where I lived for 20 years, met my husband, and had twins before moving to Princeton, NJ in 2014.

For me, photography has always been meditative. When I'm working with my camera, I'm constantly considering the best possible way to portray my subjects that feels truly beautiful and honest. I work in both film + digital!

Ever since I was a child, I've been passionate about arts and culture. Wedding photography fulfills my passion in various ways more than I would have ever imagined. I studied photography at U-Arts and PCAD, and have been photographing weddings for over 10 years, throughout which I've been developing my style of photo-journalism. I enjoy natural and simple moments. When I'm not photographing or editing, I love spending time with my family and exploring places. Most of the time you’ll find me strolling around the city with my son in search of exciting adventures.

I am where I am today because of dance. I used to be a part of competitive dance team before I fell in love with visual storytelling. After a while of being in front of the lens for photo shoots and dance videos, I ended wanting to switch sides and start documenting my life and those around me. I still get happy feet when I hear the right song, so you best believe I’ll be dancing with you on the dance floor. If can already guess, dancing at the reception is favorite part at any wedding.

If you're reading this, I already really appreciate you, my friend. Even after my fifth wedding season, I am still dumfounded that this is my job. I moved to Buffalo, NY about 6 years ago. Why Buffalo? Because my wife grew up here. I was born and raised in Münster, Germany and lived most recently in Vienna, Austria. I worked as a journalist for financial newspapers, websites and magazines. I wrote mainly about tech companies such as Apple, Facebook, Google among other things. As part of my job I was exposed to photography and filmmaking and discovered a passion. It didn’t take long for family and friends to ask me to photograph their weddings. I realized how much fun it was to be part of such an emotional day which you remember for a lifetime.
