Formerly St. Paul's Roman Catholic Church, originally built in 1850. The building was deconsecrated in 1974. That same year the building was placed on the National Register of Historic Places. In 1981, The Verdin Company, North America's oldest bell and clock company, purchased historic St. Paul's Church. The beautiful building housed The Verdin Company corporate headquarters and the Verdin Bell and Clock Museum. In the late 1990's, The Bell Event Centre was created in St. Paul's Church. Featuring hand-painted murals, marble, stained glass windows, vaulted ceilings, terrazzo flooring, & a cobblestone courtyard, this spectacular venue made for an unrivaled setting for events. Avon Gardens has been a part of love stories for over 20 years. We pride ourselves in offering guests to the gardens a unique experience unlike any other. The sun gardens offer spots bursting with glorious color throughout the season, and the ravine and waterfall gardens offer serene, shady sites, all perfect settings for many photographic opportunities. Because of the changing seasons of the gardens and the customizations of the ceremony and reception areas, no two weddings are ever alike.

We welcome guests who are planning a wedding, family reunion, graduation, corporate outing, or any other type of celebration. We have a large tent (20 ft. x 100 ft.) on a concrete pad for outdoor events and climate-controlled restroom facilities. The restroom building also has a separate dressing room area. A large pavilion is also available to serve as an area to serve food and beverage. A pergola with a large concrete area is available for the wedding ceremony. We are constructing a 10,000 sq. ft. indoor event center with a January, 2023 estimated completion date. It will include a catering area, bar, bridal suite, additional restrooms and a large patio area next to the pond.

Karrikin Spirits Company is a Cincinnati based craft distillery and event space in Fairfax, committed to exploring our love of flavors with the community. By definition, karrikins are the elements found in the smoke from a forest fire that trigger the regeneration of that forest. In the centuries since Whiskey Hollow was settled, those karrikins have been at work to bring distilling back to this very location on Cincinnati’s east side. In Spring of 2017, seven founding members with experience in brewing & distilling, woodworking, design, and more came together to purchase a building formerly occupied by Swallen’s and later, DnD Metal to start a journey of flavor and fire. From there, Karrikin Spirits Company was formed — a full-service, grain to glass distillery producing handcrafted spirits, sparkling spirits, non-alcoholic sodas, and beer.

Smith House is an historic wedding and event venue located in Noblesville, Indiana. Built in 1936, this classic home can host both intimate events inside and large tented events outside. Smith House provides space for all events with an historic touch and modern flair.

The 9-hole Sunblest Golf Course existed from the beginning of time until 1989. The current 18 hole facility of River Glen has been in existence since 1990 and shall remain till the end of time. A more detailed history and study of River Glen is currently being conducted by the Flowers anthropology group. Findings will be posted as discoveries are made. River Glen Country Club, located along the White River just minutes north of Indianapolis in Fishers, is an excellent facility to host your next event. We host a variety of events, including Wedding Ceremonies, Receptions, and Rehearsal Dinners

Originally built by Henry Woolery in 1930, Woolery Mill has been transformed into an industrial chic venue with modern amenities. Designated a National Historic Landmark in 2002, the mill is a former A.J. Woolery & Sons quarry with a variety of buildings, structures, and objects originally used for limestone production. The mill shut down production in 1996 and the property has been vacant since. Woolery Mill offers one the most inclusive and unique wedding experiences in southern Indiana all while maintaining the highest standards. Most commonly, BASH is used for either a ceremony or reception, but we welcome its use for both. Venue Staff will set, chairs, tables, and table linens however you are responsible for setting all additional decor not purchased through venue and ensuring that the venue is left free of food and returned to its original condition upon the conclusion of your event. This is a working farm, with many animals. We have a mix of very old (log house and tobacco barn) with a new kitchen area and restrooms, on public water and sewer. The unique and picturesque country setting is just 20 minutes from downtown Cincinnati. There is a circa 1800’s barn with exposed post and beam construction, a historic log cabin, a newly constructed Sugar Shack with modern men’s and women’s restrooms, a kitchen, a bar area and a small dining hall. The beautiful large lawn areas are adjacent to the buildings and are appropriate for use as an outdoor ceremony site. We even have a portable white wedding arbor ready to decorate.

Boone County Distilling Company is a wedding venue located in Independence, Kentucky. Newly completed, this Event Center is an expansion of the original distillery in Boone County. Featuring three flexible event spaces, the venue accommodates both intimate casual affairs and large formal parties. The Event Center is also a stop on The Bourbon Trail and hosts tastings at the Freiburg & Workum Bar.
