Lizton Lodge offers several indoor venue options and three outdoor options each with their own unique characteristics and style. We don’t take the task of hosting your big day lightly. The Ballroom

An all-wood ballroom, formerly the estate's indoor basketball court!

The Ballroom has native Indiana hardwood covering every inch of the walls and ceiling with 18 windows looking into the woods and cocktail court. This room also has a basketball goal in the back of the room which can be covered if needed. Great for ceremonies, buffet tables, dancing and special events.

If you’re looking for a venue that is elegant and fairytale-esque, yet full of surprises and the most wonderful team—Lizton Lodge is it. The venue was picture perfect and our guests had so much fun exploring. There’s plenty of space for all types of guests so everyone could choose where to hang out. We think this made a huge difference for our guests! Their preferred vendor list led us to some of the best and made selecting vendors so much easier. Their selection of decor to borrow helped take the load off of funding every single item. The staff made us feel like family and really went above and beyond to take care of us and our loved ones while planning and especially on our wedding day. We worked with Laura and Beth mostly, and they were so sweet, supportive, and made us feel so valued. We couldn’t imagine our day without them and the best venue!

I don't even know where to begin. Lizton Lodge was an answered prayer. Both the venue AND the staff. They tell you that Lizton Lodge is your home and that couldn't of been more true. The whole entire day was a joy. The groomsmen used every inch of the estate as well as all of the games offered. The bridemaids had the best time getting ready in a spacious and warm suite that overlooks the pond. Everything went to smoothly that I forgot people were even working our event. It's such a unique place with lots of character. I can't wait to go back to Lizton and attend a wedding!!

The Lizton Lodge is absolutely stunning! They have such a beautiful property that they encourage you to treat as your own. The estate there has several amazing outdoor ceremony options and indoor ones that are equally as beautiful and don't feel like an afterthought. The staff was all so great to work with and Laura and Ken especially were amazing and made sure we had absolutely anything we could want and more! If you're looking for a picturesque venue with a caring and attentive staff, this is the place to book!!

Lizton Lodge was the first venue we toured to host our wedding, and we might as well have skipped the 3 other venues we toured that day. With its beautiful architecture, scenery, and staff, Lizton Lodge was all we could have ever asked for out of a venue. They were very responsive whenever we reached out with questions, and were always open to us visiting the venue throughout the wedding planning process. We received so much feedback during our reception about how it was the best wedding venue that our guests have ever been to, which obviously made us extremely happy to hear. If you would like to have a unique wedding, this venue is perfect for you as they provide every couple with so many different options for ceremony and reception locations, layouts, and their own decor. The getting ready areas for both sides of the wedding party are amazing and provide more space than you’ll ever need. We could not recommend this venue enough!

Our ideal guest count for weddings is 175 or less, but we can host up to 200. A larger guest count can be achieved by placing guest tables in the Cocktail Court or Ballroom, or renting a tent for the open field.

Friday/Saturday rental time: 12 - 10 pm with 10 - 11 pm for cleanup Sunday rental time: 11 am - 9 pm with 9-10 pm for cleanup

Yes! We have a Deluxe Bridal Suite - 2 full bathrooms, balcony access overlooking the pond. And Deluxe Groom’s Suite - includes 1 full bathroom, lounge area and access to Billiards room.

Our clients source their caterer and alcohol vendors, so there are no minimums from Lizton Lodge.

Any weddings occurring beyond 2023 must use one of our required alcohol vendors. All alcohol must be provided, served, and removed by the alcohol vendor.

For reservation of your date, we ask for 25% of your total rental price. Beyond that, 25% is due 6 months from your date, 25% is due 3 months from your date, and the last 25% installment is due one month from your date. However, you are welcome to make payments in advance or pay ahead. Our venue pricing does change based on the time of year - peak season, mid-season, or off-season. You are welcome to choose any caterer you’d like, but they must have a Board of Health Certificate. The food must arrive with the caterer and already be cooked.

When you book with us for your wedding you have access to our entire 22,000 sqft estate and all indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception options.

Yes! We have a large 2-acre parking lot with 135 paved spaces + an overflow gravel lot.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. We also have ramps at the main and side entrances, hearing-impaired fire alarm lights, and trained staff.

In order to provide the best experience for our couples, we only host one event at a time within the estate!

Our off-peak season is January, February, and March!

Our peak season is May, June, September, and October.

Our standard rental time is 10 hours but additional hours are available the morning of your big day for an hourly rate.

While we hope it won't come to that, we understand that some things just happen! If the client chooses to cancel the event, we ask that they notify Lizton Lodge immediately in writing or by email. Lizton Lodge will confirm receipt of the cancellation and at that point in time, our rental agreement will be void. The client will forfeit all payments made at the time of cancellation unless Lizton Lodge is able to schedule another wedding for a new client for the cancelled date, in which case only the 25% first payment will be retained.

Our venue is just 30 minutes from Indianapolis International Airport via I-465 and I-74.

Yes, our venue requires each client to purchase day-of-event insurance and list Lizton Lodge as an additional insured party. We have recommendations for you!
