Friendship Botanic Gardens is a unique, beautiful setting for the outdoor wedding and other special events. Weddings are scheduled from mid-May through mid-October. Fountains splash, birds sing, and trees tower above. The Gardens include over one hundred acres of woods and landscaped areas, providing one of the most beautiful outdoor venues in Northwest Indiana. The Gardens can accommodate a small and intimate wedding ceremony of a few family and friends, or a larger wedding ceremony up to 300 guests. Friendship Botanic Gardens welcomes and honors all marriages of all types. We do not discriminate against anyone. All weddings include chairs, use of the area for three hours and rehearsal privileges. Arrangements can be made for use of the Bridal Cabin and golf cart shuttle with driver to transport guests to the venue. Ceremonies and receptions will be customized by our wedding coordinator. We are an event center which provides a full range of social, and business catering services in a beautiful natural setting, overlooking one of the area's loveliest golf courses. The venue occupies a colonial cape cod building especially designed for its unique needs. The space provides an airy country club ambiance featuring large open vistas overlooking two of the prettiest golf holes in Michiana.

Constructed in 1871 by Bavarian immigrant Philip H. Zorn Jr., Barrelhouse The Venue resides on the historic Zorn campus. As an annex to the brewery, Barrelhouse The Venue would manufacture beer barrels to house fresh beer prior to distribution around Northwest Indiana. Though unoccupied now, the original ice-house, brew-house, and malting building still stand across the street, a reminder of the dream Philip Zorn brought with him to America.

Since 1830, this church has been a foundation of this community as the first and oldest recorded church within the quaint beach town of St. Joseph, Michigan. Now, we are opening our venue up to the community for booking weddings! Our rental fee for the ceremony space of $1385 includes: rental of the venue (indoor sanctuary/outdoor courtyard), officiant services, wedding coordinator, custodial services, and premarital counseling materials, and rehearsal time ($100 additional if you plan to serve food at the rehearsal). If the sanctuary is rented, the price also includes a computer operator/pianist & audio tech to run the sound system. The fellowship hall rental for reception is an additional $400-$500 ($400 M-F/$500 Sat-Sun).

Hidden Vineyard is a working farm and vineyard with an elegant old barn that looks out over the rolling fields. There is a large Catalpa tree near the barn that is the second-largest Catalpa tree in Michigan and makes for a wonderful outdoor ceremony site. The old barn hosts lovely receptions and has a large covered deck that overlooks the vineyard. 

Located in the Michigan City's Uptown Arts District surrounded by history sits this 150+ year old church. It was fully renovated in 2020 while keeping the charm of old architecture. We offer an experience that merges the past and the present through modern comfort and historical luxury. All eyes will be focused on you as you enter our beautiful ballroom.
