About this venue

Since 1830, this church has been a foundation of this community as the first and oldest recorded church within the quaint beach town of St. Joseph, Michigan. Now, we are opening our venue up to the community for booking weddings! Our rental fee for the ceremony space of $1385 includes: rental of the venue (indoor sanctuary/outdoor courtyard), officiant services, wedding coordinator, custodial services, and premarital counseling materials, and rehearsal time ($100 additional if you plan to serve food at the rehearsal). If the sanctuary is rented, the price also includes a computer operator/pianist & audio tech to run the sound system. The fellowship hall rental for reception is an additional $400-$500 ($400 M-F/$500 Sat-Sun).

    We loved having our wedding here! The courtyard is stunning, and we were able to decorate the inside to make it feel magical! We were so happy to have a more modern wedding feel, while still keeping it at church with close friends and family.

    I have participated in many weddings at Pathway as a guest and tech support person. It's been a pleasure to see how couples and families are so happy with their Big Day turning out just as they wanted. The church staff is easy to work with and open to incorporating your ideas. The sanctuary is a wonderful traditional setting & the courtyard provides a great backdrop for photos.

    I am a professional photographer and have photographed events there. Also, my son got married at the church and the reception in the attached hall. Everyone there is very easy to work with. Dan, the paster is the best! The price is very reasonable. It is near Lake Michigan and there are many great places nearby.
