About this venue

We welcome you to The Lincoln Event Center. Our venue was originally a one room schoolhouse built sometime in the 1860's as The Blackman School. Later, as rural schools consolidated, the school was expanded in 1938 into a two room schoolhouse. We are excited to be able to continue to preserve its history and share the space again with the community. Elevate your next event with our elegant vintage space!

The Lincoln Event Center is a unique and intimate location featuring the vintage schoolhouse along with beautiful front lawn among tall oak and walnut trees. The space boasts 14 ft tall ceilings, beautiful tall windows with tons of natural lighting, and historic charm making our space the perfect backdrop for any event. Each half of the building can be setup to accommodate 50 seated with a building capacity of 100 ppl total. The central hallway connects each half then leading off the east end wing of the building to two restrooms. Downstairs features a prep & storage space with refrigerator, sink, and tablespace. Our event space is fully customizable, allowing you to create the perfect layout for your event. Whether you need a dance floor, dinner, or a seating arrangement, we can accommodate your needs.

The building first floor consists of two large rooms each 25 ft wide by 28.5 ft long and 14 ft ceilings. The two rooms are connected by a long open hallway that is 8 ft wide by 30 ft long. The front lawn is also available for tents, yard games, bounce houses, outdoor ceremonies. There is a large ~ 20 Ft X40 Ft area in lawn.

Tables and chairs are always included. We have 8ft long banquet tables, 5 Ft round tables, & 100 chairs.

An additional 30 mins before and after each rental is included for your use to prep/clean up. Additional time can be added to your rental period for prep, decorating, setup, teardown at a discounted rate. Inquire at time of booking. *Additional time is subject to availability of space and calendar fill for date*

Only If you will be having alcohol at your event then we require proof of 1-day event liability insurance/host liquor liability, 10 days prior to your event. This can be purchased from your home or auto insurance provider or easily online by many independent companies. The liability insurance is there to cover you for accidents, damages, alcohol, general liability, etc should something happen while you are hosting an event.

A 50% deposit is required for all by the hour rentals to secure the date. Packages and specials also required a fixed rate deposit determined by package size at time of booking.
