I’m Erika and I am a self-taught photographer, hiker enthusiast, travel lover and proud dog mama! I started my photography journey at 18 years old. I always loved art, but I never thought this newfound love would lead me down an exciting path where I get to do what I love for a living. I’m a photographer, wife, nurse, fur-mom of three, new avid hiker, and a pretty darn good baker; and I’m here (dramatic pause) to tell your story. I found photography my freshman year of high school (I needed some credits in a pinch and this was it), three days in class and I was in love. Fast forward a few year (hey! hey! not too many years... Watch it! lol) and I'm still just as in love as that third day.

I am a caffeine addict who never sleeps. I love a good thunderstorm and playing Candy Crush for the brain breaks. I adore all kinds of dogs, but I have a special love for German Shepherds. My all-time favorite thing is to sit by the fire with a glass of good cabernet or watch the ocean waves hit the beach. I love to garden and to build things (but I let my husband to finish all my projects LOL). I enjoy good food and will likely refer to a stand up comedy routine at least once in a conversation. I am also a football mom, lacrosse mom and basketball mom. Wife to a very understanding husband and emotional support person for my big puppies.
