Later, transition to a free flowing cocktail hour on the back lawn, and enjoy an outdoor tented reception for your closest family and friends. Needing an informal and budget friendly rain plan? No problem, this property includes access to its indoor community center chapel. Veasey Memorial Park takes all proceeds to help preserve its open land. The land is available to the public to include miles of walking trails and opportunities to picnic, fish and canoe all along the Massachussetts' north shore.

“Vanessa, who resides on site at Veasey Park, made our planning and event execution a total breeze! Her recommendations for bartender and tent/event setup were exactly what we needed. They were attentive and professional. Everyone we encountered in planning and holding our event were so easy to get in touch with, and Vanessa walked us through every step of the way. If you love a beautiful outdoor setting like we do, this historical park is for you! The grounds are stunning, complete with an old 1920’s hunting lodge built by the Veasey family. The park offers stunning views of the lake below, a great playground for young guests to enjoy, and if you time your event correctly, you will find the local farmer bringing his goats in to graze on the abundant vegetation. This venue really focuses on maintaining the natural beauty of the property, both inside and out! If you are looking for a cozier, cooler weather setup, just look to the gorgeous hunting lodge with it’s beautiful hardwood floors and stone chimneys! It was an absolute dream, and we couldn’t have been happier with our choosing Veasey Park for a wedding party!”

Smolak Farms is steeped in history. At the age of two, owner Michael Smolak bore witness to his Aunt Willie’s wedding on the farm. Little did he know then, back in 1954, that that wedding would be the start of a long and beautiful tradition of using Smolak Farms as a cherished wedding venue. The beautiful rolling hills of orchards and farmland span 125 acres, and provide the perfect backdrop for this very special bonding of two people. Being connected to nature and all the beauty it holds is an incredible way to start a union not just of two people, but of two families, and two lives.

“We just had our wedding at Smolak Farms and could not have had a better experience start to finish. Elaine was a godsend throughout the entire process. Elaine has been available and accommodating since day one. Throughout the entire process, she constantly checked in with us to ask us if we need anything or had any questions. She was readily available to answer any and all questions and offered suggestions and feedback throughout, that was greatly welcomed by us. As we got closer to our wedding date, Elaine helped us feel relaxed and organized. The day of the rehearsal, Elaine and her team were ready for our rowdy bridal party, and kept us organized and on track for a quick rehearsal. Elaine and her team were extremely detail oriented and had everything organized and set up the day of - they not only received and set up our charcuterie, board delivery and pastry delivery, but the entire venue was decorated beautifully beyond our initial vision. We got so many compliments that we owe to Elaine and her team on the location, ceremony, and reception. Elaine and her team went above and beyond all of our expectations for our wedding day and truly brought our wedding vision to life, and then some. We had been told to expect things to not go according to plan, we did not experience that at all. Everything went more than perfect that day. “Choosing a venue is arguably the most important aspect of celebrating a wedding, and the Stevens Estate is absolutely spectacular. I wouldn't do a single thing differently when it comes to choosing a venue. From our very first tour of the Estate, we knew they were setting the bar both aesthetically and in terms of planning, and no other venue surpassed it! Amy and Helen were extremely helpful during the planning process, providing excellent forms and schedules that guided us through. Because Fireside Catering owns and caters at the venue, everything could be discussed and planned all at once, which was great for us as we were coordinating our wedding out of state. On the day of, Amy, Casey and other staff members were beyond kind and helpful. Everyone was extremely attentive to our needs and it really felt like a luxury experience. Everything was run smoothly and professionally. The fact that they take care of setup and cleanup meant that my husband and I could be excited about celebrating our marriage without thinking about logistics. There are all kinds of backdrops for photos - beautiful forest surrounding the building, gorgeous interiors of the Estate. The food was excellent! All our guests said they had a great time, and the dance floor was packed all night! We seriously could not have asked for a more magical day, and it is all thanks to Amy, Helen, and the team at the Stevens Estate. We are so grateful for all their hard work!”
