We had our wedding at the Wimbish House in April of 2024 and it was the most spectacular day of our lives! The venue itself is so lovely and well located in the city (near plenty of activity of hotels, restaurants, and entertainment for guests within walking distance) and does not require a lot of work to make it beautiful (the ballroom and parlors are exquisite). Karin was our wedding coordinator and she made the entire process easy and stress-free. She helped us with everything and made sure nothing slipped by during the planning. The staff is all incredible and they have such great connections with other vendors (every vendor we hired said they already had such great memories of events they worked at Wimbish and I can see why!). You cannot go wrong booking this venue!

We got married at The Chapel on Sycamore in April and it was everything that we had hoped for! The chapel itself is gorgeous with the dark wood interior and stained glass, and the outdoor space in the spring was perfect for everything from photos to cocktail hour gathering. We had 200 guests and the space was accommodating. Lisa was with us to coordinate our day from the very start and was incredibly prepared, responsive, timely, and helpful in answering my many questions throughout the planning process. She met me at the Chapel to visit multiple times to look at the space as I was planning the event. We used Oakhurst Market, a preferred caterer, for our food and got many compliments (and loved the food ourselves!). We loved the location in Decatur near restaurants and bars for our guests and the ease of travel and proximity to the city and it was easy to book parking for our guests nearby with Lisa's assistance. As a facility rental, we provide tables and folding chairs inside, as well as complimentary parking. All outdoor furniture will need to be rented. Catering would be provided through one of our amazing catering companies we partner with and can average $120 to $200 per guest. Beverage service and bartenders are additional and are provided by the History Center. It is about $65 per person for a 4-hour premium full bar. We have a full property minimum on Saturdays of a peak month: April, May, June, September, and October. The facility rental fee for the Swan Gardens, Atlanta History Museum, and Grand Overlook ballroom on a Saturday is $12,500 and we have an additional $5,500 beverage minimum. Fridays and Sundays are $10,000 with a $2,500 beverage minimum. Most of our weddings can expect to spend between $400 to $1,000 per guest after all vendors and costs are added up and divided out per guest.
