About this venue

Established in 1967, Lake Pines began as a 20-site, family-operated campground in rural East Columbus, GA. An old barn served as the site's recreation center, hosting many covered dish dinners, parties, and square dances. Since that time, the owners, Connie and Kenny McCutchen, have poured their love of event planning and the great outdoors into the Lake Pines Event Center. Here, you will find a wonderful venue filled with stained glass windows, antiques, and rustic beauty that can’t be found anywhere else in the area. Lake Pines Event Center wants to help you bring your vision to life, so we offer the freedom of using your own vendors or ones we recommend. We’ll always remember that it’s your special day. The Barn

The Barn is our raw space for wedding receptions. A stone fireplace and Tiffany-style lighting add to the festive mood here.

The Barn has been the social centerpiece of LPEC from the beginning. Barns, like this one, once served many purposes as the pieces of the past that adorn the walls of this nearly century-old structure suggest. That tradition continues as it can easily be transformed from cozy and casual to formal elegance with crystal, flowers, crisp white linen and lace. Stained glass windows make the twinkling lights draped along the ceiling sparkle like fireflies.

The Embellishments package is a 2-day Ceremony and reception plan. Table and chair set up is included. All 4 venues will be included in this package for both days. option to do a rehearsal dinner in the Lillie House.
