About this venue

We moved from Peachtree City, Georgia to this breathtaking countryside estate in Newnan, Georgia in July 2016 with the sole intent of opening a wedding and special events venue. When we found this little gem, we realized we wanted to share the beautiful property with others and help our guests create unforgettable memories for their friends and family at Murphy Lane. Our guests become much more than clients, they become lifelong friends and together we seek to create a wondrous experience for each and every guest at Murphy Lane. We look forward to meeting you and helping you create the wedding or special event of your dreams.

The Barn

The 2,500 square foot barn is modern, yet classic, with custom ceramic tile flooring, a grand crystal chandelier, timeless white-washed shiplap walls, a gorgeous Bridal Lounge complete with a hair/make-up counter, 3000 square foot pavestone patio with a wrought iron railing and bistro lighting, and a spacious catering kitchen! This is, by far, the most elegant location you will find on your search for the perfect wedding and event venue.

The Gazebo

The white gazebo with an ornate roof is a gorgeous location for small or large wedding ceremonies and is spacious enough for the entire wedding party. Your guests will enjoy experiencing your special moment romantically set against mature trees and lush farmland while comfortably seated on the carefully manicured lawn.

The Field

The field features wide open spaces and is set right in the middle of a hayfield. This site has a very organic feel, just the bride and groom, bridal party, and guests—all one with nature! It’s a beautifully simple experience and is a great site for early spring and fall weddings!

The Valley

Holding up to 300 guests, the valley is the most shaded space on our property. Couples can marry under the blue sky surrounded by Georgia’s natural beauty. This is a great ceremony site for warm weather weddings.
