The Cabin (dating back to 1905) has been remodeled to serve as a getting ready-space as well. Our Chapel features family-made stained-glass and antique pews. The chapel sides can open to provide the scenery of being outdoors with the convenience of being indoors. The two-story Reception Hall can accommodate up to 242 people. Exposed wooden beams contrast with chandeliers that cast a welcoming glow across the interior. Located in Deep Ellum at Hickory Street and Second Avenue, this complex of buildings was originally a 1921 Gulf Oil Company distribution center. It served North Texas with automobile maintenance facilities and storage. The seven buildings, including an office, pumphouse, service building, and a two-story warehouse with a basement, retain their original character. Notable features include the "Gulf Oil Corporation" ghost sign and ceramic capped parapets. Gulf Oil moved in the late 1950s, and the site housed various businesses until Gary Kaelson purchased it in 1997. Today, it's a thriving creative community with many small businesses.
