Vanderbilt Lakeside offers thoughtfully curated stays and events in a welcoming gathering space, with custom in-house food and bar packages. Charming, versatile, and ideal for group getaways, retreats, and celebrations of all sizes—from intimate dinner parties, to large scale gatherings and bespoke weddings. ​ The space itself is a newly redesigned, large (6000 SF) house. It was originally built in the 1800s. The outdoor areas can also be incorporated for your event--our deck and yard are completely open-air; you would be welcome to work with a third-party rental company to have a tent set up, if of interest. The Greenport The Greenport is perhaps the most elegant space of its type in the Hudson Valley. It features a historic school gymnasium, which has been refurbished while still retaining many breathtaking architectural details. The Greenport offers 2 getting ready rooms, use of our full catering kitchen for your caterer, ballroom, cocktail lounge and patio (weather permitting), guest tables, 6’ & 8’ tables, china, flatware, glassware, stage, venue coordinator, mahogany chiavari chairs, and on-site guest parking.

BLACKBARN Hudson Valley is a unique option for an intimate gathering that can be customized for each event. This space features a multi-level formal dining room with fireplace and loft that overlooks the main dining room. Guests are also able to enjoy the private terrace with optional covered awning and use of country chic Tavern bar. Each wedding is customized utilizing the existing wooden top tables and restaurant furniture. Guests can also enjoy on-site luxury accommodations at the Diamond Mills Hotel.

The petite Pond House offers a setting for cocktail hours or after parties. Wherever you decide to host your celebration on the grounds, you will surely be followed by the area's beauty and enjoy a unique celebration experience. Services Offered As you host your wedding at The Kaaterskill, you can avail of the many services and amenities available to you. From a get-ready suite for your pre-ceremony preparations to essential event rentals to decorate your space, the venue can provide it. The in-house coordinator will also work closely with you to understand your ideas and needs to ensure a seamless planning process. The Caboose is the historic long barn located right next to our sister restaurant, Kitty’s, right across from the river in Hudson, NY. Soon, it will be a dynamic space with a wine shop and culinary native garden, as well as a stunning 3500 square foot event space. We have worked with a team of ecologically-centered architects and designers to make a space that is as beautiful as it is environmentally friendly.

Created by pioneering artist and professor Harvey Fite, Opus 40 is a world-famous sculpture park and museum with nearly 60 acres of meadows, forested paths and bluestone quarries — including 6.5 acres of earthwork sculpture — in the heart of the Hudson Valley. We welcome guests from April through November, and host live music and theatrical performances — all with the majestic Catskill Mountains as the backdrop. “In a culture of disposability,” notes David Wallis in The New York Times, not only does Opus 40 constitute “what Architectural Digest described as one of ‘the most beguiling works of art on the entire continent,’ but stands as a monument to discipline and hard work.” Considered by many to be the Stonehenge of North America, Opus 40 welcomes more than 20,000 visitors each year.
