We got married at The Chapel on Sycamore in April and it was everything that we had hoped for! The chapel itself is gorgeous with the dark wood interior and stained glass, and the outdoor space in the spring was perfect for everything from photos to cocktail hour gathering. We had 200 guests and the space was accommodating. Lisa was with us to coordinate our day from the very start and was incredibly prepared, responsive, timely, and helpful in answering my many questions throughout the planning process. She met me at the Chapel to visit multiple times to look at the space as I was planning the event. We used Oakhurst Market, a preferred caterer, for our food and got many compliments (and loved the food ourselves!). We loved the location in Decatur near restaurants and bars for our guests and the ease of travel and proximity to the city and it was easy to book parking for our guests nearby with Lisa's assistance. I would highly recommend The Chapel on Sycamore as an excellent wedding/event venue with lovely and helpful staff. The pictures included are by OliviaRosePhotography.

Mrs. Arlene is the sweetest and most welcoming vendor I ever spoke with. She ensured that all the details for how we wanted the day to go was discussed. She offered different vendors that we could work with. She worked with my tight budget for my small wedding and made our day more special that I could’ve dreamed of. She was consistent with checking in with me which was greatly appreciated since I was planning my own wedding and was super busy with work and everything else. She was there the day of the wedding helping out in all the ways she could, she even fixed me and my husband’s plates so we can sit down and relax. Her team of photographers are the absolute best and were so sweet. Over all the whole experience was amazing and I can’t recommend her enough. She honestly feels like family and on top of everything the venue is beautiful! It’s an 1800 century that they’ve renovated, but kept all of its charm. If you’re looking for a small venue for a baby shower, wedding, birthday party. This is perfect! I am definitely going back for future events.

Primrose Cottage was the perfect venue for our wedding day. The staff was amazing - always responsive, patient, and attentive from start to finish. Allison, Vonna, Lily, and Lauren were incredibly supportive and helped execute our vision flawlessly. The venue itself is truly beautiful, even more so than the photos suggest. The only thing we wish is that the reception time was a bit longer, as 4 hours went by in a flash. But besides that, we have no complaints whatsoever. The entire staff, including the servers, were extremely pleasant and helpful throughout the day. It was the perfect wedding day, and we will remember it forever.

From the moment we stepped foot at The Wheeler House, we knew this was where we wanted to get married. There's something to offer every couple, from the historic house with beautiful wrap-around porches and a pool table for the groomsmen, to the outdoor ceremony space with newly installed turf and tall trees, to the breathtaking barn with high rafters and draping. The staff is professional and our coordinator, Emma, went above and beyond to make sure our day went off seamlessly. It's a common misconception that you sacrifice quality with an all inclusive option but that couldn't be farther from the truth with The Wheeler House. We will be recommending this venue along with our family & friends over and over again. Separately, our wedding party stayed at The Wheeler House Cottages for our entire wedding weekend and it made our experience so much more enjoyable, continuing the celebrations after the wedding and having everyone in one place for ease. I recently planned a surprise, vow renewal for my wife of 25 years on May 12th, 2023, and was looking for the ideal spot to have it and I came across the Atrium. Wow!! this was the best choice that I made after shopping different Venus. The team there was top notch and very professional in every aspect. My Hat's off to Tia and her team great job!!!!! As a facility rental, we provide tables and folding chairs inside, as well as complimentary parking. All outdoor furniture will need to be rented. Catering would be provided through one of our amazing catering companies we partner with and can average $120 to $200 per guest. Beverage service and bartenders are additional and are provided by the History Center. It is about $65 per person for a 4-hour premium full bar. We have a full property minimum on Saturdays of a peak month: April, May, June, September, and October. The facility rental fee for the Swan Gardens, Atlanta History Museum, and Grand Overlook ballroom on a Saturday is $12,500 and we have an additional $5,500 beverage minimum. Fridays and Sundays are $10,000 with a $2,500 beverage minimum. Most of our weddings can expect to spend between $400 to $1,000 per guest after all vendors and costs are added up and divided out per guest.

The Lightner Museum was a wonderful venue for our wedding celebration. From the very first interaction, their communication style was quick, smooth, yet a bit complicated at times. However, the quality of their work and overall value was truly phenomenal. The historical elegance of the space provided the perfect backdrop for our special day. When traffic was terrible and we couldn't find parking, the staff even went to my car to retrieve the linens, going above and beyond to ensure everything went smoothly. While a few minor decor items were overlooked, the guests were none the wiser, and it was still a lovely evening from start to finish. We weren’t prepared for how COMPLETE our experience was going to be with Four Oaks Manor! I mean: decor, service ware, choice of colors and accents, customized ceremony backdrop, signage, seating, setup and takedown, and so much more. Their coordinator McKenzie Julian took on so much more responsibility for us- at NO extra charge- that she was practically our wedding planer from day one. The staff, the chef, and the grounds were all beyond our expectations. We wanted an outdoor venue with a forest-vineyard-farmhouse vibe and somehow we found Four Oaks to accommodate it all. There was PLENTY of room for our 80 person event, the ceremony seating and dinner arrangements were comfortable and well-placed. We had unlimited ice included and had staff handling refills of self-serve canned alcohol. There were NO surprise fees and TONS of surprise upgrades. Choosing Four Oaks was the best decision we made besides “I do!”

The Illges House was an absolute dream venue for our wedding! From the very first interaction, Kim was so kind, and incredibly helpful in guiding us through the entire process. The venue itself is simply stunning - classy, historic, clean, and high-end in every way. They worked incredibly well with all of our other vendors to ensure everything looked and felt beautiful. Kim was so understanding and gave the best advice and recommendations for making the most of the house. The entire experience was just so fun and exciting. All of our guests loved the unique feel and character of the Illges House, and we would highly recommend it as the best venue in Columbus, GA. The vendors we worked with also clearly enjoy collaborating with the Illges team, which was a great added bonus.

The Roswell Mill Club was hands down the prettiest venue we saw when we first got engaged and they turned out to be THE BEST VENDOR! Jacob Jones was our ceremony coordinator and he was so organized. SO efficient with the rehearsal, and answered all of our 100 thousand questions about the day of logistics. Linda Petsis was our event coordinator and she answered countless emails about vendors, decorations, and day-of details, and I would've lost my mind without their help! Everyone always says you need a wedding planner, or at least a day of coordinator, and these two made sure everything went smoothly the day of, and the days leading up to the wedding! Several wedding guests on both sides have told us how GORGEOUS the wedding was and how smoothly everything ran, and I 100% attribute that to Jacob and Linda. Also want to give a special shout-out to Leonard, our event captain! He was the person who made our plates for dinner and I was worried about this because how does the person know how much food I want? I spoke with him before the ceremony and explained I want more pasta than anything else and he filled AN ENTIRE PLATE with the pasta! He understood the assignment and it was my favorite part about dinner! My mom told me several times how he also made sure she always had a drink, and he made her feel just as special as the bride and groom! The food was the most delicious food I've had at a wedding, several guests commented about how incredible it was! They packed us several to-go containers at the end of the night and that was helpful to have in the few days before our honeymoon! I would give the Roswell Mill Club and Events Catering 6 stars if I could; they were super helpful and made our wedding day just PERFECT!

I can't say enough how beautiful this venue is. Lela's Place is a spacious, the landscaping is fabulous and always evolving, and the venue host, Lela, is a DELIGHT to work with. She is so sweet and thoughtful. We booked our wedding of about 85 people more than a year in advanced and she communicated regularly to ensure we got exactly what wanted on the day of. We also chose Lela to be our day of coordinator and she did a fabulous job, and that was one of the best decisions we made during the wedding planning process. She coordinated with the vendors, set up the tables, and ensured the day went smoothly. We did not have to worry about a thing on the day of the wedding and no issues arose. All my guests told me how sweet and helpful Lela was and how beautiful her venue was. Definitely check her out, she's wonderful!

I have shot around 15 weddings at Bogle Farms and each one has been so uniquely beautiful! I love the ability for each couple to make the venue their own style. The horses are wonderful and there is always a perfect spot for photos. Oh and the sunsets are too die for! Always a pleasure to work there!

Where do I start ? First this review is long overdue! I couldn’t give a more glowing review for the Veranda’s staff and Lori Burnett, the coordinator/planner for our wedding. To say Lori is an excellent wedding coordinator/planner is really doing her an injustice. Lori was on point with every single aspect of our wedding. We were coming from out of state , which makes planning a wedding difficult to say the least. We had a few issues with our original caterer and had to switch it up virtually last minute and Lori was with us the entire time ensuring us everything would be perfect. She worked closely with all of our vendors to ensure the day was seamless! She had endless ideas that gave us the ability to have the look and feel that we were looking for on our special day. We went in hoping for the best but knowing , it’s virtually impossible to have everything go perfect on your wedding day. Thanks to Lori, the incredible staff and the vendors our day was absolutely perfect. Lori asked for a sort of report card of our day wondering what they could have done different or better and so on. Even this far out from that day I can not think of a single thing. Everything from our breakfast, made by the wonderful Ms Lavern to the last dance of the night ,was exactly how we wanted it down to the smallest details ! Lori really busted her butt the whole weekend and I’m sure in the weeks and days leading up to the wedding. The Veranda was decorated beautifully, Lori was in super early getting everything ready the day of, coordinating the staff and vendors like an elite maestro preforming a flawless rendition of Mozart! Absolutely stunning venue if you’re looking for a classic elevated backyard wedding feel. Every detail was perfect and we would get married there every weekend if we could! The food was amazing, from breakfast, lunch, dinner, to banquet. Service was fantastic. Our guests are still calling to tell us how beautiful everything was and how delicious the food was. Our stay was great. I was in the tower suite and there was plenty of room for my 10 bridesmaids flower girls and moms coming in and out. I didn’t want to leave!! We actually extended our stay and considered doing it again. Carla was fantastic!! If you’re planning an event with her you will learn she does everything she can to make your vision come to life. We had our wedding at the Wimbish House in April of 2024 and it was the most spectacular day of our lives! The venue itself is so lovely and well located in the city (near plenty of activity of hotels, restaurants, and entertainment for guests within walking distance) and does not require a lot of work to make it beautiful (the ballroom and parlors are exquisite). Karin was our wedding coordinator and she made the entire process easy and stress-free. She helped us with everything and made sure nothing slipped by during the planning. The staff is all incredible and they have such great connections with other vendors (every vendor we hired said they already had such great memories of events they worked at Wimbish and I can see why!). You cannot go wrong booking this venue!

This venue was absolutely GORGEOUS. It was an inclusive venue that provided catering, cake, DJ, florist, day-of-coordinations, and of course the decor and space rental. There were a few communication blips along the way, but they were all resolved and the day-of came together perfectly.
