About this venue

San Marco Preservation Hall, a registered historic landmark, was built in 1888 as St. Paul's Episcopal Church. The Hall was moved across the St. Johns River and eventually made its way to scenic Fletcher Park on Atlantic Boulevard. Preservation Hall was renovated by and is operated by the San Marco Preservation Society (SMPS), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organized for the preservation and promotion of the San Marco neighborhood, which celebrates its centennial in 2025. This Carpenter Gothic-style hidden gem is available for rental along with Stockton Cottage - the perfect bridal suite! All are welcome, whether you're celebrating a marriage or a homegoing, an anniversary, or a private party. Our staff is excited to speak with you!

Stockton Cottage

Small cottage, big memories.

This staging area is perfect for use as a bridal suite or family hideaway on the big day. Equipped with two vanities and multiple mirrors, including a full-length cheval mirror, the Cottage features beautiful antique furniture. Other amenities include a small bathroom with a sink, hardwood floors, varied light fixtures, and plenty of windows to let in the Florida sunshine!

    San Marco Preservation Hall was a perfect ceremony spot for my clients who were looking for an intimate ceremony location to host their 50 guests. The staff was incredibly easy to work with and my clients were so happy with how everything turned out! I look forward to hosting another wedding again soon with them!

    Preservation Hall is the perfect space for any event, whether it's a meeting or a wedding. The staff is very responsive with communication and scheduling is a breeze. The hall very warm and inviting and very clean. And you really can't beat the location!
