About this venue

This famous Southern Greek-Revival style home with magnolia & oak lined sidewalks is a hidden gem in the heart of historic downtown St. Augustine. The venue boasts outdoor gardens, wrap-around covered porch, and four interior rooms that may be used reception-style with a mix of seating and food displays for up 125 guest. Add a tent and string lighting for an outdoor celebration, or seat up to 60 guests inside for an intimate dinner.

Relaxed and Casual Atmosphere with Historic Details

All interior rooms include the Library, Dining Room, and the connected Pink & Yellow Rooms. Use the Library for relaxing and cocktails, the Dining Room for displayed foods, and the combined Pink/Yellow rooms for seated meals, ceremony, and/or dancing.

    I didn't know about The Markland House until recently. I always passed by, but never realized it was a venue! Such a gorgeous location. Everyone there was super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to get married...from a photographer's perspective, there are so many beautiful photo locations both indoors and outdoors!

    We had a small wedding and the staff at Markland house made it perfect. The style of the house and catering was wonderful. The wait staff we very professional and friendly. When there were issues with our cake (from a different vendor) the Markland staff solved our problem so quickly and we still had a cake! We have nothing but great things to say.
