Our story began in 1957 in the small west Texas town of Monahans. At Frosty’s local burger and ice cream shack, Carol Ann was enjoying an evening out with friends, when Sam, a young airman spotted her in the crowd; He leaned in and told his buddies, “I’m going to marry that girl”. Courting her through the family’s old screen door, their love story began…. lasting over 60 years. Gatherings of family and friends were the hallmark to Sam and Carol Ann’s life together. They enjoyed sharing their stories full of adventure, love and laughter….The Casa at Canyon Lake is a legacy to their love story. Dedicated in loving memory of Sam and Carol Ann, the family renovated the property in 2024, creating a wedding & event venue to continue building a lifetime of treasured memories.

Hideout on the Horseshoe is the premiere spot for any couple looking to get married directly on the Guadalupe River. Centered in the Texas Hill Country, our venue has breathtaking views of the Guadalupe River and rolling hills which make for perfect photo ops! Your ceremony will take place riverside with the Guadalupe River as your backdrop and the reception will be held in our outdoor covered pavilion with a cool breeze coming off the river and hills. Nineteen cabins are included as part of our packages so your nearest and dearest can stay on site with you. Whether you have a smaller guest count of 50, larger guest count of 275 or you fall somewhere in between our venue is perfect for you!

The Reneau Farms Event Venue is located on 150 acres outside the Greater New Braunfels area on the original 100+-year-old family owned and operated farm. The farm also includes an original 1924 southern Farmhouse, affectionately referred to as Granny’s which was originally built as a wedding present for Granny. Granny’s is the perfect place to stay with family, friends or bridal party, perfect location to get ready for your big event or relax on the front porch with a cup of sweet tea. With 150 acres, the ideas for your big event are limitless. We are located on the north side of Canyon Lake in the Hill Country between Austin and San Antonio. We have 25 Cabins and Cottages plus an Event Hall and Wedding Gazebo. Our place is beautifully landscaped with over 5 acres of lawns, huge oak trees, covered picnic and BBQ areas, a playground, in-ground pool and beach volleyball court. Canyon Lake offers 80 miles of shoreline around pristine clear blue waters for fun year-round.

Posey Meadows Wedding and Event Venue is a stunning, white, modern barn nestled in a 10 acre meadow which has been in the Posey family since the 1882. Our vision was born out of our shared love for college students, community, friends and hospitality. Texas Rock House is a labor of love. My grandparents built the house and barns in the 1940's as a working farm for their family. My mother was the youngest of seven children that grew up here. I grew up almost across the street with my mom (Joyce), daddy (Buddy), and brother (Larry). Larry and I spent almost every Friday night here - listening to his records on Grandma's old record player or sitting on the back porch swing counting the number of cars on the trains as they passed by. Whether you are looking for a memorable barn wedding venue for your special day, a unique event space for your corporate meeting, or a beautiful place to celebrate one of life's special moments, the Texas Rock House is the place to be! Built in 1921, the Martindale Schoolhouse is an official Texas Historical Landmark. The feeling of being inside a 100 year-old school building will transport you back in time to experience what a rural school was like over a century ago. The Martindale Schoolhouse is centrally located between Austin and San Antonio and is perfect for weddings, special events, weekend getaways, and outdoor excursions. First, there’s the expansive five-room villa that was once the original school. Carefully curated with art from around the world, the schoolhouse sleeps 14 and has been fully modernized with a large kitchen, multiple seating areas, a great lawn and a covered veranda with an outdoor fireplace. Next, there's the Martindale Social Hall.
