New Years Wedding

This property has two main buildings. The farm house and the dance hall(which has attached living quarters) first of all the owners had ZERO communication after we made our deposit. Absolutely no contact/responses to my texts & emails. Day before our big day we arrived to set up and have our rehearsal dinner. The farmhouse was locked, I had bridesmaids come in from out of town with nowhere to put their luggage or settle in. I had to call 2/3 times to get a hold of someone to get the code inside the house. My whole bridal party waiting on the porch with their luggage. Ridiculous start. Our wedding went smoothly with a few hiccups not pertaining to the venue. Our LARGEST complaint is the fact that we paid for 3 days the last day until 3 pm (owners wife told me 3/4 pm was fine and flexible while making our deposit) their kids come out to the ranch abt 11am while we’re having a nice brunch and start SHOOTING. Less than a 50 yards away. Then one of their boys a 10 year old comes INTO the house and starts taking guns out of their safe. When approached the kid said “I was told yall would be gone by now” fully aware that the property is being used / ppl walking around - decorations still up- cars parked outside. When the kids started shooting towards the building (the falling pellets were hitting my family members) we confronted the owner and he started cussing us out and forced us to rush out. Police were called to the venue bc he threatened all of us. THE MORNING AFTER OUR WEDDING. They told us they were no longer a wedding venue- however I see they’re still here on Zola. DONT GET MARRIED HERE
