Established in 1750 as an English land grant in the picturesque White Mountains of Maine (then the “Massachusetts Bay Colony”), Hardy Farm remained in the same family for ten generations prior to being purchased by Greg and Deborah Link in 2001. After a The Links transformed Hardy Farm into a very special and unique “rustic elegant” venue for weddings and events offering an authentically historic feel, with a distinctly unique ambiance of contemporary yet rustic elegance featuring all of today's modern amenities. The State Theatre, located at 609 Congress Street in the heart of Portland, Maine’s Arts District was originally built as a first-run movie house in 1929. The Barn on Walnut Hill is one of Maine's most sought after venues, located just 25 minutes from Portland in the lovely town of North Yarmouth. For more than a decade, the property has been setting the bar for timeless, elevated, and modern events in an elevated New England setting in the spring, summer, and fall. Walnut Hill's serene and private grounds include a forest ceremony grove, meticulously restored and climate controlled barn, ample space for tenting, and farmhouse for up to 12 overnight guests. Weddings at Walnut Hill include exclusive use of the entire property from Thursday-Sunday. This allows couples to host a ceremony and reception on site, as well as rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, and even a farewell brunch, with no additional fees. For the first time in 2025, couples may also customize their length of stay on property through our Fête offering - this could be Friday-Sunday, or even just Saturday-Sunday depending on what you have in mind for your celebration!

Our historical 3 acre waterfront property with 2 acres of open area on the water with its views of Casco Bay and Portland Harbor, our heated 2500SF National Historic Landmark Greenwood Playhouse with our lighted water view deck, and our outdoor lighted pavilion. We have a commercial kitchen for your caterer on site, and we have an 8' x 4' gas grill. We are all volunteers of the Peaks Island Lions Club that own, operate, and maintain the site, and profits go to Island Scholarships and grants. May, June, and October are our discounted months.

Woodfords Club is an historic venue in Portland, Maine. Incorporated as a social club in 1913, the charm of this era has been maintained through recent restoration efforts as is seen in the lobby room you step into upon entering the Club. In 2007, Chestnut Street Church, already on the National Registry of Historic Places, was purchased and completely renovated, turning it into a locally loved and nationally acclaimed restaurant, Grace, in 2009. Grace operated as a full service restaurant and event space until 2019 when we again reimagined the beautiful structure to concentrate only on the event side of the business so we could make more room for beautiful weddings, exciting functions and our commitment to having space for our community efforts.
