This blank canvas can be used as a staging area for your vendors, a prep location for getting ready, a quiet spot for guests to escape the liveliness of the reception, or an extra makeshift kitchen for your caterers (it is hardwired for rental ovens and cooking surfaces).

    On September 21st, 2024 my husband and I got married at Maine Studio Works with 143 guests. We got ready in “studio A” then had our ceremony, dinner and reception in ”studio B”. I don’t even know where to start with how amazing this venue was for our wedding. Great location with a blank canvas that allows you to make the space your own! The best part about using this venue for our wedding was working with the owners, Nora and Zack. Weddings can be stressful and overwhelming but Nora and Zack made it such a fun and positive experience. They went above and beyond as venue owners. They are both easy going, attentive, professional, accommodating and most of all creative when it came to helping us execute our vision in their space. Our favorite things about the space included; having studio A to get ready in, walking out of the big sliding door towards the aisle, having the garage door which opened up to outdoor space, and the tall ceilings which helped the room feel big and not too loud. Our guests were in love with the venue. To this day our guests comment on how cool the space was to get married in and how we were so lucky to work with such a great team. Nora and Zack are two of the most down to earth people I’ve ever met and highly recommend using their space for your next event!

    I attended one of the events that they hosted (not a wedding, but they have a bunch of different types of events come through regularly), and I LOVED the spot! My fiancé & I are debating having our 2025 wedding reception here next year. We heard nothing but great things about the owners, and the staff working the event seemed to be having a blast. We loved that it's so different from your typical stuffy, overly-elegant wedding venue. This is a photo studio that is run by 2 photographers, and the vibe feels more NYC than Maine. Concrete floors with high ceilings, white walls, in the brewery district of Portland.

    White walls, open concept blank canvas space, in the heart of the brewery district in Portland. What is t there to love?! Owned by 2 creatives in the imagery world, it’s also a great studio for photo/video productions.
