With a father who loves Miles Davis and a mother who adores Smokey Robinson, Cecily grew up surrounded by the music in her parents vast record collection, and was captivated by the works of Minnie Riperton, Gil Scott-Heron, Anita Baker, and Phyllis Hyman. After college, Cecily looked to these rich, soulful sounds from her childhood, and channeled them into her own music. Known for her sweet soprano, honest lyrics and pure vocals, Cecily brings her own vulnerability to each song, telling her story, and hopes that, at the end, the audience feels vulnerable enough to tell their own stories.

Aaron is a high end DJ who has worked all over the DC and Northern Virginia area. He began to DJ in 1995, performing at countless clubs and bars in Atlanta to help support his music career as a bass player. Aaron’s love of music began in high school playing bass in jazz band.

A native to the Washington DC suburbs, his musical palate is as eclectic as the community that he proudly calls home. His sets range anything from Top 40 and House to Latin Dance & Hip-Hop. In his words, “it’s all about getting the perfect reaction. His music career thus far has brought him to 60 different countries on 4 continents. Currently, Dom adheres to a busy gig schedule in the Washington DC area, performing regularly at some of the area’s most recognized venues with a variety of different artists and projects.

ForTheWin is a party band from the Washington DC area playing a wide variety of Top 40, Pop, Rock, HipHop, etc for clubs, weddings, festivals, private events, corporate events, and everything in between. Fronted by the dynamic duo of Ryan Angelo and Amanda Andresen, their electric stage energy, powerful vocals, and rapping skills never fail to impress and allow the band to play a wide range of material.
