Evolving Events NYC was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From our very first conversation, Eric and his team were friendly, easy to communicate with, and incredibly responsive to all of our questions and requests. On the day of our wedding, they brought an unparalleled level of energy and entertainment that kept our friends and family dancing all night long. The music choices were perfectly tailored to our tastes, and the special touches like the sparklers, bubbles, and uplighting really made our wedding feel personal and unique. Evolving Events NYC was truly wonderful to work with for our wedding. From the beginning, Eric and his team were timely, friendly, and professional in their communication. They really understood the fun, upbeat vibe we were going for and made sure we had a few special moments throughout the day. Eric was accommodating, friendly, and helped us have such a blast on the dance floor. We highly recommend Evolving Events Entertainment! Firstly, Eric answered all of our questions and gave us great advice. He worked with us and made sure we were happy and content with our upcoming wedding. At the wedding, DJ Jimmy played exactly what we asked for and more making sure to play something for everyone! Each selection was perfect! Lastly, MC Edwin was fantastic on the microphone and even interactive with all of my guests. The dance floor was full the entire night and me and my guests didn’t want the music to stop!. Even my very picky Uncle complemented the music which doesn’t happen very often lol We will definitely book them again for our next event!

I found Evolving Events through diligent research on Instagram and my husband and I were so glad we went with Eric and his team for our wedding day! From our first phone call, we instantly vibed with Eric as he knew what we were looking for and we felt like we could really depend on him from the start. He is super responsive and willing to go above and beyond to make sure we were happy. And we were definitely happy prior to and day of the wedding! One thing that stood out on our wedding was the fact that there were 2 dance sessions!! Once after our first dance (which wasn’t planned) and 2nd after speeches/dinner. Eric and his team just went off the guests’ energies and the guests LOVED it. They really know how to read the crowd. No one was sitting at the tables because they were all on the dance floor almost the entire night! Thank you Eric and team for creating such a perfect night where we could dance our butts off. We truly had the best time!

We always have our staff in their Sunday's best. Whether that be a suit and tie, a tux or nice button down and slacks, we want to fit the vibe of the event and consult with all of our clients on acceptable attire for their event. So whether you're having a chill wedding or black tie affair, we'll be there and we'll blend in with your guests to match the occasion!

This is always one of the questions we defer to the client on. You have total control. If you don't want Uncle Joe requesting that same Frank Sinatra song he always asks for at parties, we won't play it! We also give you our "do not play" list to fill out to filter out any requests you may not want played.

Yes. We are insured up to $2,000,000 which is slightly above the standard in the Tri-State area.

We consider ourselves open format with a hint of club style DJs. Our main DJs have played at the hottest clubs all around NYC and bring that energy to weddings. The open format comes in when we have clients who request something more laid back and less clubby. We cover it all.

Yes. All of our packages include the option to use us for ceremony and cocktail hour at no extra charge. We'll be there early anyway and it's of no inconvenience to us to make these parts of your wedding special for you as well.

The easy answer is we're friendly. We become friends with all of our clients and write each other on social media, watch each others' kids grow up and usually work together again. The longer answer is the attention to detail we provide. Because we only do one wedding per day, you'll have our full attention. That's not the easiest thing to attain in my industry.

We aim to arrive 3 hours before. Giving us time to hit any unforeseen traffic, catastrophes, GPS issues, etc. We've never been late to an event *knock on wood!*

All travel is covered within a 20 mile radius of NYC. We charge $2/mile to and from your event.

We're constantly scouring the internet for new music. We want to stay on top of the trends and drop the dopest songs out, should you request them. We have over 150,000 songs in our library and still building.
