The Tavern (Groom's Tavern) has its original barn beams as this was at one time a bank barn. The rustic charm matches the rod iron chandeliers in the room leading to the tavern. In 2007 the former owners built an addition to the facility that speaks volumes, equipped with windows throughout to show off the amazing view... It really is breathtaking. Today the owners have renovated all the rooms in the building but, kept the rustic charm. Located in the rolling hills in south central Pennsylvania, The Granary at Peach Glen offers a rustic and beautiful scene for any wedding celebrations. In 1902, Elmer Thomas and his wife purchased the plot of land right off Peach Glen Road in Gardners, Pennsylvania. Here they settled and built their family home, while farming and harvesting the surrounding land. The Thomas family has continuously worked to restore and bring the property back to life. The stone barn is heated and air conditioned to allow for use year-round, and provides beautiful views of the well-maintained grounds. Battlefield Bed and Breakfast is the dream venue for any couple looking for a historical property in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This historic barn, built in 1870's in New Kingston, PA, has seen many chapters. Moved to Shippensburg, PA, in 1946 after a fire, it faced demolition in 2019. With the love and support of family and friends, we undertook the incredible task of relocating the barn and several outbuildings. Our dream was to create a unique and cherished wedding venue for our daughter and son-in-law – a dream that has blossomed into Rustic Reflections Venue. Mark and Karlen have been restoring the farm for 19 years, one thing has been maintained as much as possible in its original form, the barn. The historic late 1800’s bank barn has many of the original board siding, only to be replaced in-like when needed. It boasts a very large 4 bay layout with the original chestnut flooring. The board siding allows the light to dance off the beautiful wood floors. It is a privilege for Mark and Karlen to invite you into their treasured barn and grounds.
