As a DJ and Photo Booth company, I LOVE working at Mill 1. The event staff is flexible and easy to work with, the food is consistently outstanding, and the venue is beautiful, unique and classy. Doing some up-lighting against those gorgeous brick walls gives the room a very elegant feel. The room is spacious and very roomy for most group sizes. You cannot go wrong having your event at Mill 1. Just book it, you will certainly not be disappointed.

The Basilica is a one-of-a-kind space. If you are trying to avoid having a cookie-cutter wedding, this is the place for you. The staff has seen this venue set up in MANY different ways and can make anything you imagine come to life. I was really worried about being able to turn a blank space into my dream night but they made it happen easily. I'll never forget the feeling of seeing it all set up for the first time. The best part is that there are zero time restrictions on the space. Which for us, meant an after-party until 3am :)

At the turn of the century the company faced a crisis: the site of their mill would be flooded to form the Wachusett Reservoir. Instead of abandoning the mill, the company dismantled it brick by brick and shipped it to its new home in Easthampton, where it was rebuilt on the banks of the Lower Mill Pond. I could not say enough good things about this venue. We're SO glad we decided to get married at The Boylston Rooms! The pictures show for themselves how beautiful the venue (and surrounding areas for photography) are, but the staff are what make this place extra special. From start to finish, everyone we worked with was nothing but professional. They were clear and timely communicators, helped troubleshoot things during the planning process, and came with loads of wedding wisdom that helped set us up for success on the big day. When the big day came, I also appreciated how often their staff checked in - even to make sure I was eating (it's the small things!) - and were ready to jump into support anywhere. A special shout out to Myles, who played a supporting role during our wedding portraits, helping me to keep my very long veil under control! A few other things I'll mention: - Their storage room filled with decor you can borrow is SO helpful. Less that you need to buy (and potentially waste post-wedding) and can even make decision-making easier when there are 1,000 versions of the same item online. - Their wedding suites are great to have available too. Obviously for getting ready, but it's also a nice reprieve if you need a quiet moment during the reception. - The Boylston Rooms only works with one caterer, Myer's Catering. Our guests are STILL raving about the food. (There's more flexibility with other vendors). - The Boylston Rooms also owns/is affiliated with The Wedding Day Trolley, which we used to transport our guests to/from the hotel. My partner and I also took some super fun photos inside of the trolley!

We just had our wedding here this past weekend and wanted to write this review while everything was still fresh in our minds (albeit a bit blurry still!) because the team at South Farms was so amazing and we are so grateful to them. We live in NYC and planning a wedding while out of state seemed a little daunting, but the whole team here is so professional, responsive, friendly and welcoming that we felt comfortable we'd be able to plan from afar. We really wanted an outdoor element to our wedding while still having modern amenities and South Farms was the only place that checked all of our boxes with its beautiful fields, mix of indoor/outdoor spaces, interesting history and features, exposed beams, modern bathrooms, temperature control, and a charming indoor/rain option. The spaces all have great bones with a lot of room to make things personal and unique, and we felt the staff was really open to working with us to achieve our particular aesthetic. Jennifer was very accommodating in the beginning with scheduling our tour and answering our initial questions, and as we got closer to the wedding we met our venue coordinator Sam, who is amazing. She kept us on track, was super friendly (and patient with our thousand questions, details and project ideas) and we always felt confident that things were going to go smoothly on our day no matter the situation. We felt pretty organized and on top of everything as the day was getting closer, but so many small things come up that you can't predict and Sam was calm and on top of everything - we are so grateful to her and the rest of the team that worked on our wedding day. No matter how well you prepare, the day moves fast, and you need a vendor team you trust. Not only was all of South Farms dependable, but most of our vendors were from their preferred list, and everything was executed exactly how we imagined. Even working within their preferred list, we still had lots of choices to personalize everything from the caterer, to the lighting, to the decor. All of our guests complimented how beautiful and unique the space was, and how well executed all of our details were (which is thanks to the SF team). There is probably a lot more we can say about our experience here, but we highly recommend this venue, and are already wondering how we can host another party at South Farms someday.

We had a wedding reception/party in the Green Room recently for around 85 people and it was AMAZING! TJ, Christine and the team were so easy going and awesome to work with. They thought of every detail and were on-site to ensure everything ran smoothly. The food was PHENOMENAL! We did the pass around hor d'oeuvres, the pizza package and the Gatos Tacos. Everyone absolutely loved it! Our guests are still talking about it! P.S. - Don't sleep on those mini grilled cheeses for the pass arounds - like OMG! The drinks were obviously great as well. If you haven't been to New Park, go and drink up! You won't regret it! Not a beer drinker? They have a full bar in their event space! Great for any type of drinker. They even had NA beer too for the non-drinkers. I highly recommend New Park for any of your event needs! They are the BEST!!

My wedding experience at Birch Hill was incredible, and I owe so much of that to Serena and her amazing team! We started the booking process in early March, hoping for a September/October wedding date, and thankfully found one that worked. Serena was an absolute goddess from start to finish—she gave us a thorough tour of all the location options, answered every question, and made the entire process feel effortless. We knew almost immediately that no other venue would compare! Since we were on a tight timeline, I reached out to Serena frequently with questions, and she always responded promptly and thoroughly. By our 90-day planning meeting, we were already so comfortable with everything, and Serena guided us seamlessly through food choices (of which there were so many!) and other details. Her expertise really shone through when I wasn’t sure about certain things; she made it all so simple and stress-free. On the big day, I felt so confident in Serena and her team—it was like everything was taken care of before I could even think about it. I truly felt like I had nothing to worry about and could be fully present in every moment, which made the day even more magical. They thought of every detail, big and small, allowing me to simply enjoy and soak it all in. Speaking of the food—it was hands down the best meal I’ve ever had! We chose the Cocktail Style package and went with a wide range of options, including crispy calamari with lemon-garlic aioli, French onion soup, cider bacon-wrapped chicken, pulled pork wonton bites, and mini grilled cheeses with tomato soup shooters, among others. Every single bite was phenomenal! The prime rib was cooked to perfection, and the mashed potato bar and pasta station were crowd favorites. Our guests raved about the gourmet French fry station that we had later in the night. While we handpicked the items, I genuinely believe that anything else on their menu would have been just as amazing—the quality and flavors were out of this world. At the end of the night, everything was packed up perfectly and already in my car before I even stopped partying! If I had to give any constructive feedback, it would be about the bridal suite. It was a very warm day for late September, and the air conditioning hadn’t been turned on before we arrived, so the suite was quite hot initially. Other than that, our ceremony by the pond was absolutely beautiful. While the mosquitos and some goose droppings were a minor annoyance, the setting was otherwise perfect and so romantic. All in all, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Serena’s commitment and attention to detail made our wedding truly unforgettable!

We first heard about the Wire Event Center through a photographer on Facebook while the venue/hotel was still under construction. We fell in love at first site and are glad we went with it! The views are amazing, and with James Newbury attached, the location is highly convenient. The venue itself easily checked all our boxes while looking for the perfect location for a wedding. Isolated, but not far from an airport, scenic for spectacular wedding photos, accessible for those requiring wheelchairs, and walkable distances to other restaurants for rehearsal dinners, welcome drinks, and after parties. Inside the venue itself easily accommodated 100 guests, dance floor, DJ setup, photo booth, and more. We did cocktail hour in the Atrium which offers an awe inspiring view on a beautiful day with areas both inside and outside. The real star behind the venue was the assistance from Holly Harman. Leading up to the event, Holly was able to help organize, set up, and answer a multitude of questions both regarding venue or reaching out to vendors. Holly was an amazing contact before, during, and after the wedding to the point that we begged her (after work hours) to join us at our after party. Throughout the wedding day, she was able to help coordinate transitions between events, assist with last second adjustments, and even take care of our rambunctious pupper, Asher. It was originally supposed to rain on our wedding day, however she took care of that, too :) The communication was exceptional, and we could not have asked for someone better to work with. I will admit, we had a rowdy bunch at times requiring some firm language to move from reception after party after-after party (shout out to Ravish Liquors), but for our family, that's what is needed. If we could go back, we would choose this location again and again, 100%! Thank you tremendously to Holly and the rest of the Wire Event Center staff for the best day of our lives!

I don’t even know where to begin. At the beginning of our wedding journey, finding a venue was the hardest thing we could’ve done. My husband and I had a specific vision in mind and had an incredibly difficult time finding a place that we loved that was also within our budget. We’re from the LI area but knew we wished to get married upstate. We must have visited at least 10 venues. Then on our way home from one, my husband found Stablegate on a whim. We looked everything over and it had the barn that I wanted, and the catering included that my husband wanted and I said “if we visit and we like it, I’m putting a deposit down the next day.” And that’s exactly what we did. Birch Hill is an incredible family owned company with so many aspects attached to it, it was hard not to fall in the second we saw it. Over 2.5 years, I never once regretted that decision and once the wedding day came and went I knew it was the right choice for us. The food is amazing and a ton of different options (including catering to my vegan guests), the staff are incredible, and the vibes are immaculate. Our wedding coordinator Jared was really the star of the show. He was super accommodating to all of our needs, organized, and just all in all a ridiculously sweet and funny guy. When our wedding day ended up getting rained out, he came up with backup plans right on the spot that honestly fit our vibe so much more than our original plan and I really truly have Jared to thank for that. Jared treated us like we were old friends that he was just helping throughout the day. He is someone I will truly forever be the most grateful for to have on my wedding day. We are exclusive in the sense that we host only one wedding a weekend and we give wedding parties the entire weekend to enjoy their big day! Additionally, onsite housing allows for the parties to gather throughout the entire weekend. We were so lucky to celebrate our wedding at A Private Estate, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. When we were searching for a venue, we visited A Private Estate in the depth of winter during a snowstorm, but even then, we immediately knew it was the perfect place for us. Ripley, the owner, was friendly and direct, and it was clear she genuinely cared about making sure people had an amazing experience. The property was beautifully maintained, and the convenience of having the Carriage House accommodation along with the barn for the reception made it a much better value than most other venues we considered. We chose to have our ceremony outside, overlooking the Hudson River, which created a breathtaking and peaceful setting for our vows. The manor house made for a stunning backdrop for our family photos, adding a touch of elegance to the day. We held our reception in the barn, which we highly recommend to other couples. The rustic charm of the space, combined with the elegance of the estate, created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. Our mid-August wedding was made even more memorable by the beauty and ambiance of the setting. The property manager, Jack, went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. Not only did he assist us with practical matters, like putting up blinds in the Carriage House to help our family members' kids sleep, but he also saved the day when a special bottle of wine we had intended to keep was accidentally thrown out by the caterers. Jack took it upon himself to dig it up and return it to us—an act of kindness we won’t forget. We are incredibly grateful for the hospitality and attention to detail from both Jack and Ripley. I can’t even put into words how special my wedding was thanks to The Lake House (but I’m going to try lol). I found this location on Zola and when I contacted the owner, Paul, it was like speaking to an old friend even though we had never met before. He is so sincere and thoughtful and has the best tips and tricks for wedding planning. I never hired a wedding planner and I was a little overwhelmed in the beginning of my planning process but Paul was there every step of the way for me. He answered all my emails filled with dumb questions and he advised me in the best way. Carole, my wedding coordinator at the venue, was an absolute gem as well and made things so easy. My wedding was 11/16/24 (the last wedding of their season!) and I still have guests telling me how fantastic everything was. Especially the FOOD. I truly dream about the filet mignon and tiramisu we had about twice a week lol. I can’t say enough amazing things about this venue. I would have my next birthday party here just so I can see Paul and Carole again and eat more of the delicious food lol. The location is GORGEOUS and they truly made my wedding the best night of my entire life.

She goes above and beyond to make sure that everyone's day runs smoothly and is there to immediately solve anything that needs to be addressed. In addition to the staff, the venue and surrounding area speaks for itself. As a videographer, having a venue that has beautiful surroundings and visually pleasing areas is a MUST. TPC has a beautiful ceremony site that overlooks the stunning fairways of their golf course with trees, lakes, and gorgeous sunsets. These views double as the perfect spot to take couples for portraits and family sessions. The overall experience that you will find at TPC is unmatched and I am always excited when I see their name on my wedding schedule.

Normanside was the first venue we looked at and honestly anything after it just didn't compare. We kept finding ourselves coming back to Normanside as our favorite for several reasons. We really wanted a ceremony outside but reception indoors (for A/C) which they offered (and on top of that, the outside patio has an awning incase of rain, you're covered, literally). The packages offered are extremely reasonable. With several options and add-ons available we were really able to customize exactly what we wanted. We also loved that everythinge is on one level (as we had some guests unable to do stairs). The finished patio off the bar is beautiful. Our guests loved playing cornhole during cocktail hour and throughout the evening. Jaimie was awesome and on top of things every step of the way. She was easy to work with, very responsive any time we reached out and always professional. Jaimie and Dave were very accommodating to our wants and needs. From the scenery to the staff and everything in between Normanside made our wedding what it was. We couldn't be more thankful we choose them as our venue.
