We absolutely loved having our wedding at Findlay Country Club in October '20. The venue was incredibly gorgeous (especially in the fall), the food was delicious, and there were so many beautiful places for pictures. Lindsay, helped us through our planning, gave us tons of ideas, and was so organized. She helped us out a LOT day-of with keeping things moving and on-track and going above and beyond her responsibilities. I can't thank her and the FCC staff for making our special day perfect - I wouldn't have changed anything!

Though I'm not a bride/couple that has utilized the Civic Center as a venue, I can offer a different perspective on the space. I'm a videographer, and frequently film at the Lima Civic Center. The team there has always been very professional and treated me with courtesy. They've helped out when needed (like when a counterpart needed a quiet place to deal with a medical issue). They make me feel like I'm part of their team when I'm there. I've seen how they interact with wedding patrons and families, and I would not hesitate to recommend the Civic Center to couples. I also think it's very neat and convenient to have the hotel attached. I've seen weddings in several different spaces within the building, including the main convention hall, the theater, and the lobby with tremendous natural light. In short, as a vendor I've been very pleased with my experiences at the Lima Civic Center. I frequently encourage my friends and family to inquire with the venue about having their wedding celebrations there.

She answered all of our questions promptly, often going the extra mile to coordinate with her team during renovations. Her dedication and care for the couples she works with are truly unmatched. The venue itself is breathtaking—rustic, modern, and newly renovated. We intentionally kept our decorations minimal to let the beauty of the space shine through. The garage doors were a highlight, giving us seamless indoor-outdoor flow for cocktail hour and access to the bar. Our guests loved the fire pits scattered throughout the property, allowing them to enjoy the beautiful grounds and move freely between the indoor and outdoor spaces. The bartenders were fantastic, providing excellent service and ensuring our guests were happy with the drink selections we had chosen. Every detail about the space contributed to a smooth, memorable experience. For couples planning their ceremony, I highly recommend hosting it on-site. The grounds provided a stunning setting, and being able to transition effortlessly from ceremony to reception on the same property allowed us to fully enjoy our day without the stress of travel. I got married here on 9.29.24 and cannot say enough good things about Arlington Acres! From the initial inquiry, tour, all the way until the wedding day, Sarah was so helpful in making my wedding dreams come true. She was always so quick to respond to my million emails and so willing to help give feedback when I was questioning certain decisions. It ended up raining on our wedding day, which wasn’t ideal, but even with the rain, our wedding was PERFECT. The venue is gorgeous, there is so much room to really make the event unique and personable to you, and we loved that we were able to choose all of our own vendors. I can’t even tell you how many of our guests came up and told us how gorgeous the venue was. My husband and I would recommend this venue a million times over. If you are considering it, book your date now!! You absolutely will not regret it. Thanks Sarah and family for everything!! Everything tasted great, many of my guests complimented the meal, and I really love how the table décor looked. As our wedding was Halloween themed, I invited the staff to dress up, and I was happy to see that they did and also had a good time. Friendly, Skilled, and Flexible, I would absolutely recommend All Occasions Catering to anyone planning an event or wedding. Our barn is over 100 years old and we added on a new barn onto it. Together they can seat up to 200 people for a wedding reception. We have added beautiful bistro lighting so not a lot of additional decorating is needed. You have your choice of 4 different outdoor ceremony sites. A grain bin gazebo on a stamped cement pad with bistro lighting is available to be used as a ceremony site or the setting for cocktail hour / outdoor bar. The bridal party has the admissions barn to use for wedding prep and the room on the back of our new restroom building is where the groomsmen can get ready in.

From the moment we first contacted The MAiZE at Little Darby Creek, we were impressed by their patient, flexible, and informative communication style. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with a unique and spacious layout that provided ample room for our wedding celebration. One of the standout moments was when the staff personally escorted my 91-year-old grandmother to the ceremony and back to the reception, ensuring she was comfortable and taken care of. They also recommended an excellent DJ. The kids (and adults!) had a wonderful time exploring the slides and taking the wagon ride over to the ceremony site. I cannot say enough amazing things about Meeker’s Venue. The staff, the venue, the services offered, and for the price?? Cannot be beat. They are a family that truly cares about your day and your vision. As someone planning our wedding from out of town they were so flexible through the planning process. They’ve done this so many times they really think of everything, absolutely nothing on my day went wrong. I cannot thank Tess and John enough. My only note as something to know for a future bride is that while we LOVE the vintage look/feel off the bell tower, watch your white dresses on the floor! It’s a little dusty up there! Nothing we couldn’t buff out but just a note!
