“Jerry and the team at Parkway Banquets were very helpful in planning our special day. Communication was mainly through email and phone which worked well to coordinate details. The venue itself was beautiful and spacious, especially for the price. On the day-of, Jerry and staff were attentive to make sure things flowed smoothly. There seems to be some miscommunication around salad selections but overall the food was great, and it was a beautiful, memorable wedding that we really enjoyed.”

Industrial feel with a separate space for ceremony and reception. We offer a rooftop area that is great for pictures and for guests to hang out. We are budget friendly without losing the great customer service.

Courtney was our venue coordinator the day of and she was amazing!! Our wedding day was so stress free and I credit a lot of that to her. She made sure everything went smoothly and was in constant communication with us all day. The venue itself has so much natural beauty and our guests still talk about how pretty it was. The bridal suite was literally perfect and SO spacious! Couldn’t recommend Grand River Hall enough!”

The Wagner House, located in the historic Wagner Print Building, is a three-story industrial warehouse in downtown Freeport, Illinois. The building was built in 1903 and was one of the first buildings that had electricity in Freeport. Established in 1853 and incorporated on March 9, 1912, the Wagner Building was home to the German-born Wagner Family who, like Freeport, has a long and interesting history. The Wagner House also served as an industrial manufacturing spot for textiles and fashion. For four generations, the business did not change hands, and the present Wagner company pledged to continue their record of quality printing and letterpress and are still in business today. In 2013, The Wagner building was sold to Bill Green to redevelop and re-imagine it, creating a wine bar, business incubator, and beautiful event space.
