Chef Ellen and her team did an outstanding job executing our office party for 125 guests. We had a fall themed menu (including Apple Pie Fried Ravioli & Grilled Mushroom w/ Sausage Gorgonzola Mascarpone! YUM!) and Chef Ellen made it extra special by dressing the room with fall florals, chalkboard signs & wooden boxes for elevation. Her staff was very professional (shout to Tom, whose Hospitality went a long way!). We will definitely look forward to having Chef Ellen & her team back at our office in the future!

  • Serves Cutchogue, NY

Fig & Pig continues to be a creative, quality-driven catering company devoted to showcasing seasonal ingredients and producing exceptional, food-focused events. Our team of professionally-trained chefs cook with dedication and pride to create thoughtful meals that are both comforting and modern. We work closely with our clients to build curated menus and distinctive settings that reflect the personality and vision of their event. At Fig & Pig, the service is as important as the food. Our front of house team drives the success of each event and they take very seriously, the needs of our guests.

I have nothing but effusive praise for Fig & Pig! They were the best catering team imaginable for our fall wedding in the Catskills. Holly prepares truly delicious meals, with huge crowd pleasers including the heritage smoked chicken, lasagne, and the cocktail hour crab cakes. Throughout the planning process Tammy was always quick to respond, and eager to incorporate unique little twists. We had homemade cookies we wanted to serve alongside Fig & Pig's delightful sticky toffee pudding and strawberry shortcake -- and they ensured it happened seamlessly. The bartenders and waitstaff brought fantastic, upbeat energy to the party. I can't overstate how thoughtful Holly and Tammy were every step of the way. Just one example: Fig & Pig had a small tray of appetizers set out for us in a private area following the ceremony, so my husband and I could savor a brief moment alone and enjoy all of the canapes before joining our guests at cocktail hour. Fig & Pig's food is magnificent. The specialty cocktails are stunners. I would recommend this team to anyone -- they are absolutely stellar.

After reconnecting with the Dish team, in particular speaking with Evalyn, we couldn't have felt more confident that it was the right fit for our big day. From the personalized menu, to the in house tasting, and the amazing day of coordinator, Cortney, the most important and expensive party we ever threw (and likely ever will) was in the best hands. When any changes or adjustments came up the team was eager to help make our vision come to life. A few weeks before when I wanted to do another itinerary run through, Cortney, was not just game, but so enthusiastic and supportive. As small things came up day of, Evalyn and Cortney were on it and as we were packing up, the whole Dish team helped us pack up and carry out our numerous flower arrangements. Sweet Basil catered our wedding in September and we were thrilled with them. The food and service were both excellent. My husband and I are both foodies so it was important for us to find a catering company with great food. We found them on-line based on their great reviews. Amy was very easy to work with, and it was clear from the start that the team was interested and excited about creating a menu that was not your standard wedding fare. Our day went off seamlessly and their staff is so nice and had great energy. I'd definitely recommend Sweet Basil

AAA Royal Catering

5.0

  • Starts at $400
  • Serves Cutchogue, NY

HOW IT ALL BEGAN As a child the best times were our Family Gatherings. Every weekend we would meet at one of our relative’s house where Our Family would meet for huge dinners and all types of special occasions. Ever since I've been recreating that atmosphere. My first jobs were working at a bakery, restaurant, catering company and butcher shop. In 1982 I started my business AAA Royal Catering. Today 39 years later with the help of my wife, children and dedicated staff we continue to bring Long Island the best in food and service. We welcome the opportunity to serve you.

AAA Royal Catering did a great job for my wedding January 31 2024. The food was very delicious. It was great doing business with Mr Tony. He is very professional, responds in a timely manner, and gives you step by step guidance. There's no guessing when it comes to pricing because he sends you an invoice immediately after you send a request breaking down the cost. Mr Tony puts his his heart into his job. Our wedding was a success because of AAA Royal Catering.

ONTHEMARC Catered Events

5.0

  • Serves Cutchogue, NY

OnTheMarc is a contemporary, full-service caterer with extensive experience in off-site catered events. Marc Weber and his team of Chefs, Event Coordinators and Managers bring an ardent passion for food and service to each and every event. Seasonal, bespoke menus are OnTheMarc’s signature foundation for an inspired and impressive gastronomic experience.

As soon as we visited On the Marc for our food tasting, we knew that the food would be fantastic—and more on that in a minute—but OTM really set itself apart with the service. They greeted our guests with flavored waters when they arrived (hugely helpful for a mid-summer wedding), had servers ready with drinks and food as soon as cocktail hour started, prepared an appetizer platter for a quick private moment as newlyweds, and much much more. A few things stick out over all though: first, the servers were so attentive that they realized a friend of mine was absolutely smashing one of the appetizers and kept bringing those to her (even learning to take the mint leaf off as she did). Second, they rolled with the punches as we realized we may have screwed up some food placards, accommodating our request to check with each guest to make sure we had it right. Third, they had servers march out all at the same time to bring courses during dinner services, a super-professional touch which gave the service a white-glove-service feel. The food was delicious, and everyone kept commenting on it (even on the dance floor where they brought desserts!!). Overall, the food was amazing, the only thing better than the food was the service, and we highly recommend OTM to anyone considering them!

BITE

5.0

  • Starts at $10,000
  • Serves Cutchogue, NY

We really hate the word "catering". This word conjures all the worst least-common-denominator associations, and we believe that through our attention to craft & collaboration, our work attains an authentic resonance far beyond that of most service providers. We aim to work with and compose for, to express & celebrate our clients' & partners' personalities as best we can. but... Until we find a more poetic & succinct descriptor, catering is what we do. Our projects are equally balanced between private (weddings, birthdays, social gatherings), non-profit (galas, openings, fundraisers) and corporate (launches, fashion shows, meetings).

Scott and his team at BITE are extraordinary. He is deeply passionate about his craft, and together with his team, they are detail-oriented, possess phenomenal style, and have caches of patience. As a culinary industry professional, with cooking being what brought me and my husband together, we envisioned our wedding revolving around the dining experience. I intended to include personal touches in everything from the welcome spritzes to the passed desserts on the dance floor. While most industry professionals would understandably feel daunted by such a task, Scott matched my level of enthusiasm as if it were his own wedding. For every idea and whim I came to him with, he delivered with such grace that underscored how well he interpreted my taste. We planned our wedding for two and a half years during the pandemic, so there were many unexpected changes along the way. Ultimately, Scott guided me to make the decisions that would create the most cohesive event. To make a wedding feel opulent and yet ebullient is one of the rarest of abilities - Scott and his team achieve this with thoughtful, contemporary taste and a laser focus on the guest experience. There were fig leaves and rose geranium that Scott personally retrieved from my dad's garden and infused into the passed dessert bites and cocktails and an edible tablescape that emulated a Dutch oil painting. Guests continued to be awed by the beautiful first course of colorful, seasonal vegetables served individually in perfect unison. The main event was a standing rib roast ornamented with pheasant feathers and a shimmering salt-baked bass elaborately presented on vintage rolling carts, then served in traditional French-style service. Our ceremony was intended to take place in the private gardens of the historic General Theological Seminary in Chelsea, but an unexpected impending storm led to a change of plans. Scott recognized that the rain plan that our wedding planners contrived would not be feasible with the live band and dining table set up before it was too late. He rearranged every aspect of the day, starting with proposing a new ceremony vision that I was just as thrilled with, even though it meant his team would have only one hour to turn over the reception room. I can only imagine the complexities and back-and-forth that pulling off the culinary experience this event no doubt required. Yet, during the week of the wedding, Scott handled everything while providing emotional support every step of the way. Despite the challenges the storm brought, all the technicalities were impeccably executed, and our taste and vision for the evening came alive in the most enchanting way. Now, when I look at the pictures of our ceremony in front of the rose-adorned fireplace in the refectory room, it feels almost preordained. I can still hear Scott’s wise assurances, “It won’t always be what you wanted, but it will be exactly what you need.” Our wedding far exceeded what we envisioned and we credit all the magic to Scott. Thank you, Scott and the BITE team, for not just executing a fantastic meal we will always treasure but for also taking on the planning where it was so needed. Without Scott and his team, we never would have had the opportunity to live the moment so fully. xx Jillian Canaj
