Freida and Matt have combined over 30 years of culinary experience from fine dining to casual, fast paced environments. Together they have began their own catering/food truck business operating out of South County RI offering hand crafted and ethnically influenced sandwiches and hand cut fries focusing on using local produce and supporting small businesses in the area. Special/custom menus are available upon request.

ButterHead Food Truck is a one of a kind unique experience that you can choose to offer to your guests. Our beautiful truck stands out because it is clean, custom and practically brand new compared to some trucks you may see at events. Our experience and service is about going above and beyond to make sure the guests and primary are more than satisfied with their choice in choosing us. The food speaks for it self with flavor profiles and techniques not always found in the food truck scene.

    WOW! Working with Butterhead is a complete joy! Matt, Freida and Anna are kind, professional and a pleasure to work with. They are fantastic communicators and always respond quickly to any questions we have had. Butterhead has proven to be flexible given the needs of our business and it’s changing ways of operation due to COVID. The food that comes out of the Butterhead food truck is exceptional. The menu changes with the locally grown foods of the seasons, so there is always something new and exciting to try. The flavors, sauces, and sandwiches can not be beat and they always leave you happy and wanting more! Tilted Barn Brewery loves working with Butterhead and would recommend them for any special event that you may have in the works! Cheers!

    Butterhead is absolutely phenomenal in every aspect of working with them and having them for events. They are wonderful, open, honest, personable people and so importantly their food is AMAZING. The presentation and service they provide is next level. Their culinary and food service backgrounds show in the way they bring ingredients to life in special ways. They incorporate worldly influences and have blown our minds from day one and continue to do so. I highly recommend Butterhead!

    We had Butterhead swing by to cater a party for us and they were great! Their food was a hit, everyone loved it. We were happy with their friendly service and we would definitely hire them again. They had a cute set up and they cleaned up afterwards, which was really nice because that allowed us to enjoy the party without worrying about cooking or cleaning.

    Freida and Matt were so easy to work with. They made a signature sandwich for my husband that was delicious and so personalized! The set up went smoothly (even in bad weather) and they brought a helper which I wasn’t expecting but made the party so much better. They took care of everything and I was able to relax and enjoy the party and chat with guests. We definitely recommend Butterhead for any event, large or small!
