We're a woman-owned full-service company established in 2008 and known for seasonal food, beautiful presentation and top-notch service. Our style is "down-to-earth luxury". And our goal is to give our clients an elevated food experience with warm, NEVER stuffy service :) We focus on using seasonal ingredients and present our food with an eye for design. We love to create menus for our couples that reflect their personal tastes.

We’re definitely not a cookie-cutter catering company. We’re flexible with our clients and are passionate about creating menus to suit their varied tastes and dietary preferences. We have a good amount of gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan options. And with regards to service, we are sticklers for friendly and attentive service. We hear time and time again from our couples how much their friends and families enjoyed the service at their weddings.

Amy is super friendly and places consistent rental orders all throughout the year. She has an immense knowledge of the events industry which she helps each event she does, reach perfection.     Sweet Basil catered our wedding in September and we were thrilled with them. The food and service were both excellent. My husband and I are both foodies so it was important for us to find a catering company with great food. We found them on-line based on their great reviews. Amy was very easy to work with, and it was clear from the start that the team was interested and excited about creating a menu that was not your standard wedding fare. Our day went off seamlessly and their staff is so nice and had great energy. I'd definitely recommend Sweet Basil

    I am a florist in Great Neck, NY and had a chance to decorate for one of my friend’s baby shower. I met Sweet basil first time there and we all really enjoyed working with them! They had the best team-work and i could feel there is a respect each others. It is rare to meet ppl like that kind of attitudes and we really enjoyed the vibe! 100% recommended
