Founder and Head Chef

Jess’ passion towards food comes from growing up in a bi-cultural and bilingual home where life revolved around the kitchen table. As a Peruvian, Irish New Jerseyian, she spent most of her childhood in NJ, as well as Lima, Peru. Seeing such different worlds gave her a sense of belonging to a global community. Her travels began first to Peru, visiting family, then to Europe and Latin America where she lived in Spain, studied in Italy and worked in Mexico. The inspiration for Hearth & Table is to bring us back to the table. Everyone understands the concept of breaking bread. Her hope is that Hearth & Table will help everyone experience it.
