This Georgian styled house boasts flexible banquet space including four gathering rooms, bridal suites and intimate garden and lawn for outdoor events. Kentlands Mansion is conveniently located in Gaithersburg, Maryland with easy access to I-270, nearby hotels, dining and shopping. The Tschiffely-Kent property has been a landmark along Darnestown Road since 1900. The stately mansion was built by Frederick Tschiffely, and later sold to Otis Beall Kent in 1942. The elegant property now belongs to the City of Gaithersburg, and is an ideal venue for weddings, receptions, social functions and business meetings.

“I recommend the Kentlands Mansion not only because of its charm but for the easiness it was to work with the staff. This was our first annual Christmas Party and we did not need to bring any additional decorations because the Mansion was beautifully decorated and created a warm holiday feeling for us and our guests. There was plenty of parking which is normally a concern with events but not here. I also liked that when it got a little warm because of dancing that we were able to step out on the canopied porch for some fresh air but was still able to hear the music. Looking forward to another event at the Mansion!”

“Glen Ellen Farm is gorgeous! The venue was amazing. All our guests complimented the beauty of Glen Ellen, and our pictures are beautiful. A great mix of different settings - a pond view, a little sandy beach area, a flower garden, rustic stone ruins. Debbie, the owner, is great to work with and very responsive!”
