Set on 55 acres of rolling green hills in Carroll County MD, Cold Saturday Farm is a gorgeous venue if you desire true history, natural beauty, and rustic charm. The Manor Houses date back to 1776 when the original farm was a land grant from the King of England. The farm boast many options for wedding flow and design of your event. We book one wedding a weekend so there is no stressful time window for your wedding day. All spaces and buildings are yours too utilize for one flat, transparent cost based on time of year. Choose from the Orchard Barn, Carriage House, Tented Overlook, The Green and the School House to orchestrate your perfect day. Historic Waverly Mansion is located in Marriottsville, Maryland. This 1760's era estate is a the perfect setting of an intimate garden wedding and reception! The Mansion and property is owned and operated by Howard County Government's Recreation and Parks Department and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Historic Waverly Mansion is considered an outdoor venue. The property includes beautifully maintained gardens, the historic Mansion, and rustic barn. During our peak rental season, a 60x40ft event tent is included in wedding rentals. Historic Waverly provides the location and property amenities while the Permit Holder provides all vendors, including an approved full-service Caterer and Wedding Coordinator. Historic Waverly Mansion is a Howard County Park. Howard County Recreation and Park guidelines apply to all scheduled events and are different from privately owned venues. Anthony Corradetti moved his thriving glassblowing business to Clipper Mill in 2005 after an already accomplished career spanning 30 years. His works are included in many private, corporate and museum collections. The space is an independent studio where glasswork is created everyday including large scale installations, lighting projects, and tabletop pieces for home or office. The showroom is open daily and features a variety of works for sale from one of a kind art to limited production pieces all made by Anthony Corradetti. Glassblowing classes & workshops are held regularly and the venue is available to rent for private events.
