Around January before our April wedding, we realized we needed help bringing details together and to have more confidence and support on the day of the wedding. Kat helped us organize our details and helped us bring our vision to life- all while taking the stress out of planning. She coordinated all our vendors and helped with aspects that we didn't know how to approach. She involved our families in very meaningful ways, both in the planning and up through the day of the wedding. The rehearsal and day of flowed so beautifully because of Kat's lead, and despite the inevitable stress, Kat helped us feel confident in ways we will continually be grateful for. She was so organized and on top of everything for the wedding, as soon as I hired her I felt so much more at ease with the planning process. I did a pretty much DIY wedding, my venue did not provide anything other than the venue and furniture, therefore, I had a lot of moving parts to my wedding and multiple vendors involved. Kristen took all the chaotic information I provided and streamlined the whole thing. She organized everything for me into a very easy to follow timeline and then was in constant communication with all the vendors. My regular hair dresser is the hair dresser I used for my wedding and she and I are friends. She told me that from a vendor's perspective, Kristen was the best coordinator/planner she had ever worked with. She was very impressed with her constant communication and all of the details she thought of in preparation of the event. Kristen and her team took my vision and made it a reality which was no easy task but she got it done. “Katie was our coordinator for our wedding on 5/17/25. I can’t thank her enough for all the hard work she put in to make our day perfect. She pays attention to detail and really is passionate about what she does. Before the wedding, we scheduled a meeting with our DJ to go over song selection and Katie had already sent him all the songs we picked along with a timeline. His exact words “man yall have a great coordinator”. Something that’s super important to me is communication. Any questions that I had, she answered right away and checked on us every week before the wedding. The day of the wedding, Katie helped set up the rest of our decorations which I didn’t even expect her to do! She noticed our cake stand was wobbly and fixed it. She even stacked our cake and put cute decorations around it. We also did sparklers for the exit and she noticed the sparklers we got needed more than just a lighter. She brought a blow torch so they would light! I’m telling you- attention to detail is her strong suit! “We cannot recommend The Planning Bee highly enough! We hired Lauren to help with our pre and post wedding events, and she went ABOVE and BEYOND our expectations. “Kaity did a great job, especially considering all the uncertainty of bad weather (my ceremony was outdoors) we had to all deal with. She always had an upbeat and positive attitude the whole time, which I know can be very difficult to do around my family. She definitely would just roll with all the punches to keep us on track. I was anxious the entire day, but Kaity reassured me that she had everything under control and I knew I could trust her. She even went out of her way to get me and my husband little care packages on the day of, with inspiring notes. The only hiccups I actually noticed was with announcements and speeches, because the volume and echo was not great, so people didn't know when things were actually happening, so I wish we could've told the DJ sooner to fix the issue. We had also wanted to have our dinners boxed up, because my husband and I were both too anxious and excited to really eat, so our food ended up being thrown away, plus we didn't receive the top tier of our wedding cake to save for the tradition thing (but my guess is because they served it all to the guests). Unfortunately, at the end of the night, we were super rushed to get everything out of the building, because of the time and the pouring rain- I was running around barefoot in my dress while my husband was passed out in the car, and I was one of the few trying to get everything packed and cleaned up. However, Kaity and her husband really helped us out by collecting all the left items and holding onto them for us until the next day. She kept in contact, since at least a month beforehand, to make sure we had everything in order and sent her all the vendor contacts , so she could be included with all the day-of plans. She really did go above and beyond to make sure I had the best day possible, and I really appreciated that from her. I would definitely hire her again.”

Hey, there! I am a "Type A" wedding planner based out of Greenville, SC. I fell in love with the Wedding Industry when my sister got married during the HEIGHT of COVID (August 2020) and we were put in the position of having to make about a million changes to accommodate health and safety needs. Since then, I've helped so many couples plan their perfect day. I love "The Office," vanilla iced coffee, reading mystery books, Jesus, and tuxedo cats. I enjoy an adrenaline rush bouldering, doing aerial silks, or hot power vinyasa.

“Brianna was such a pleasure to work with. I hired her for her day-of coordination as I planned my wedding myself. It was a small, pretty minimalist wedding with 40 guests, but having Brianna coordinate with the vendors, and lead the rehearsal and wedding day was a huge relief during a stressful planning process. She was flexible with helping us plan our timeline earlier than usual and asked us all of the questions that wouldn’t have ever occurred to me. She was super supportive and communicative and helped find me vendors and just so patient with us. Scheduling meetings through her website was a breeze! Being able to see her availability without going back and forth or waiting for confirmations was super helpful. Brianna was a huge help when we learned we couldn’t store our decor at the venue the day before, so after the rehearsal at the venue, she stashed all the decor in her car. The day of our wedding, Brianna and her assistant put the dinner tables exactly as I had shown her, but I was really impressed with how she used our leftover decor for our guestbook table, gift table, and even the bar! It all felt really cohesive and I was impressed by her creativity and her ability to improvise. Brianna was so reassuring and on top of everything and she really made our day run as smoothly as possible!”
