Booking with The Wedding Foundry at Liberty View Farm is the best thing my husband and I have ever done. We were looking to have a small intimate wedding, but every venue tour we did still had a 75-100 person minimum and required a large cost requirement for catering. Then I happened upon The Wedding Foundry when researching micro weddings. We had one phone call with Billiam and immediately signed the contract, without even viewing the venue first. As a bride, the fact that they were including the venue, the officiant, photography, florals and catering was the best thing ever. It took so much stress off of me while planning this wedding, as I did not have to run around to different vendors. Billiam and Erica were extremely communicative and really took the time to learn what we were looking for. Day of, Billiam and his day of coordinator Cathy made sure the day ran perfectly. We were absolutely blown away from how beautiful our venue was. The florals they created made our wedding look like a fairy tale. Our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to. Erica was an absolute pro with photography, really taking her time with my husband and I for our portraits. Throughout the night she made sure to capture every moment. Erica sent teasers to us within a week of our wedding and the photos are beautiful. The officiant, Michele, was amazing. She created the most personalized and beautiful ceremony that fit us perfectly. We loved how she included a hand-fasting ceremony as well. Multiple guests approached us to let us know that there was not a single dry eye during our ceremony. The Wedding Foundry truly created our perfect day. We are so happy with our intimate wedding, we had 46 of our closest friends and family and everyone truly enjoyed the day. We fell in love with this venue the moment we drove up the road. My husband and I grew up in NJ, live in Brooklyn, and were looking for a venue that felt like a nature retreat while still being accessible for our friends and family. Milford is a great town just down the road and the hotels are so close too. Linnea and Alec were so communicative and helpful with the endless lists of questions we sent them. We cannot thank them enough for setting the stage for the weekend - and I'm just so impressed with how seamless and easy it felt to use their venue. We were struck just by the beauty of the whole property. It's absolutely marvelous! We were surrounded by charming little bunnies and butterflies the whole weekend. We took advantage of the place for the whole weekend - a Friday night pizza truck party, multiple pool and hot tub hangouts, and a Sunday bagel brunch in the barn. Everybody was raving about the barn, farmhouse, and cottage. The sunset during the reception created a great atmosphere for our guests to congregate and enjoy the lawn. We felt right at home and it made our wedding so incredibly special.

The Fox and Bear Lodge was the perfect venue for our wedding. Janice, who runs the inn, was an absolute delight and took wonderful care of us and our guests all weekend, with her incredible breakfasts being a standout. Jenn, the day-of coordinator, was equally amazing—organized, attentive, and ensured everything went smoothly, allowing us to enjoy our day stress-free. For context, we had 65 people at our wedding total, including us and two children. This felt like the perfect size for our group, especially given the necessity of the tent due to chilly October nights. The lodge itself is charming, with great rooms and fantastic amenities. Despite its location at the corner of two streets, we barely noticed any traffic. While nearby lodging options are limited, most of our guests were satisfied with the Quality Inn just 10 minutes away. The venue struck a perfect balance between outdoorsy and chic, offering more flexibility than other venues. Though there were some additional but reasonable fees, it was wonderful to have our rehearsal dinner, welcome drinks, and brunch all at the lodge, making it the ideal fit for our special day. We are so thankful that we decided to stay over an extra night, without any of our guests, to get to truly enjoy the lodge a bit more before checking out. Venue is always clean, and has many amnemdies some venues do not, including bathrooms, potable running water, tables and chairs, heat and air-conditioning. The space has many layout options and flows well. Blanche and Danni are a pleasure to work with and really care about each event being a day to remember. They supply an excellent list of vendors, who are easy to work with and are all local pro's. We also buy ingredients for our events both meat and vegetables. They have an amazing group of farmers. Certified organic and bio dynamic. Everything they do is to the best standard.

My wedding experience at Birch Hill was incredible, and I owe so much of that to Serena and her amazing team! We started the booking process in early March, hoping for a September/October wedding date, and thankfully found one that worked. Serena was an absolute goddess from start to finish—she gave us a thorough tour of all the location options, answered every question, and made the entire process feel effortless. We knew almost immediately that no other venue would compare! Since we were on a tight timeline, I reached out to Serena frequently with questions, and she always responded promptly and thoroughly. By our 90-day planning meeting, we were already so comfortable with everything, and Serena guided us seamlessly through food choices (of which there were so many!) and other details. Her expertise really shone through when I wasn’t sure about certain things; she made it all so simple and stress-free. On the big day, I felt so confident in Serena and her team—it was like everything was taken care of before I could even think about it. I truly felt like I had nothing to worry about and could be fully present in every moment, which made the day even more magical. They thought of every detail, big and small, allowing me to simply enjoy and soak it all in. Speaking of the food—it was hands down the best meal I’ve ever had! We chose the Cocktail Style package and went with a wide range of options, including crispy calamari with lemon-garlic aioli, French onion soup, cider bacon-wrapped chicken, pulled pork wonton bites, and mini grilled cheeses with tomato soup shooters, among others. Every single bite was phenomenal! The prime rib was cooked to perfection, and the mashed potato bar and pasta station were crowd favorites. Our guests raved about the gourmet French fry station that we had later in the night. While we handpicked the items, I genuinely believe that anything else on their menu would have been just as amazing—the quality and flavors were out of this world. At the end of the night, everything was packed up perfectly and already in my car before I even stopped partying! If I had to give any constructive feedback, it would be about the bridal suite. It was a very warm day for late September, and the air conditioning hadn’t been turned on before we arrived, so the suite was quite hot initially. Other than that, our ceremony by the pond was absolutely beautiful. While the mosquitos and some goose droppings were a minor annoyance, the setting was otherwise perfect and so romantic. All in all, I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Serena’s commitment and attention to detail made our wedding truly unforgettable!

The Hudson Milliner was a fantastic venue for our wedding. It’s a beautiful space with tons of character and charm. There is genuinely moving art everywhere and great natural light which you will want for beautiful photos. Charlotta and Shannon were extremely helpful and welcoming. They answered all of our questions and gave us the lay of the land in Hudson. We had our wedding brunch at a very nice French restaurant on their suggestion. I would 100% do it all again with The Hudson Milliner and suggest you do too.

I don’t even know where to begin. At the beginning of our wedding journey, finding a venue was the hardest thing we could’ve done. My husband and I had a specific vision in mind and had an incredibly difficult time finding a place that we loved that was also within our budget. We’re from the LI area but knew we wished to get married upstate. We must have visited at least 10 venues. Then on our way home from one, my husband found Stablegate on a whim. We looked everything over and it had the barn that I wanted, and the catering included that my husband wanted and I said “if we visit and we like it, I’m putting a deposit down the next day.” And that’s exactly what we did. Birch Hill is an incredible family owned company with so many aspects attached to it, it was hard not to fall in the second we saw it. Over 2.5 years, I never once regretted that decision and once the wedding day came and went I knew it was the right choice for us. The food is amazing and a ton of different options (including catering to my vegan guests), the staff are incredible, and the vibes are immaculate. Our wedding coordinator Jared was really the star of the show. He was super accommodating to all of our needs, organized, and just all in all a ridiculously sweet and funny guy. When our wedding day ended up getting rained out, he came up with backup plans right on the spot that honestly fit our vibe so much more than our original plan and I really truly have Jared to thank for that. Jared treated us like we were old friends that he was just helping throughout the day. He is someone I will truly forever be the most grateful for to have on my wedding day. I have heard so many horror stories about venues, and I can honestly say this is not one of them. Stablegate Barn and the Birch Hill Catering Company have my highest recommendation. And if you need a coordinator, ask for Jared. Really truly from the bottom of my heart, thank you for an amazing wedding day.

I don't think I can write a review to do both M&D Farm as a venue and Mario & Daniel as individuals justice, but I will certainly try. We had our wedding at M&D Farm this summer and still are in awe of every moment of that day. M&D Farm is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. The gardens are awe-inspiring - all of our guests could not believe how incredibly beautiful the venue was. The natural look and feel, combined with the hard work that Mario and Daniel put into this place makes every moment you spend at it an absolute dream. Honestly, I don't think we've seen anything like it while touring venues. It's an absolutely magical place. But what's more magical than the garden and property itself? Mario and Daniel. I mean....wow. Mario and Daniel guided us through the wedding process with ease, calmness, and huge support. But what was even more impressive was their day of coordination. As a bride, I literally did not have to think about anything but having the best time all day long. Mario and Daniel were accomodating, efficient, fun to be around, knew all the staff, kept us on time without feeling like there was a lot of pressure, and made the whole experience just so easy. We were in absolute awe the entire time. We cannot be more thankful to both of them for the best day we could have possibly asked for. We were so lucky to celebrate our wedding at A Private Estate, and it truly exceeded all of our expectations. When we were searching for a venue, we visited A Private Estate in the depth of winter during a snowstorm, but even then, we immediately knew it was the perfect place for us. Ripley, the owner, was friendly and direct, and it was clear she genuinely cared about making sure people had an amazing experience. The property was beautifully maintained, and the convenience of having the Carriage House accommodation along with the barn for the reception made it a much better value than most other venues we considered. We chose to have our ceremony outside, overlooking the Hudson River, which created a breathtaking and peaceful setting for our vows. The manor house made for a stunning backdrop for our family photos, adding a touch of elegance to the day. We held our reception in the barn, which we highly recommend to other couples. The rustic charm of the space, combined with the elegance of the estate, created the perfect atmosphere for our celebration. Our mid-August wedding was made even more memorable by the beauty and ambiance of the setting. The property manager, Jack, went above and beyond to ensure our day was perfect. Not only did he assist us with practical matters, like putting up blinds in the Carriage House to help our family members' kids sleep, but he also saved the day when a special bottle of wine we had intended to keep was accidentally thrown out by the caterers. Jack took it upon himself to dig it up and return it to us—an act of kindness we won’t forget. We are incredibly grateful for the hospitality and attention to detail from both Jack and Ripley. This was my first and only venue I toured and I fell in love. We were looking for something very modern and our style and this was exactly that! I was so in love with the large floor to ceiling windows and at night it was absolutely stunning! The outside patio with the fire pits were such a beautiful touch and everyone was loving them all night! The food & drinks were delicious and I have to mention how amazing the staff was to us.. truly wouldn’t have gotten through the night without them! Highly recommend!!

We had an absolutely perfect day at Cricket Creek. We hosted our ceremony up in the pasture and our cocktail hour down and around the barn. The possibilities were endless and we were able to shape the space and use it exactly how we wanted. Working with Jessi made that easy because she was always there to give us advice and make sure all our bases were covered and we weren’t missing anything important. We decided to go to an indoor location for our reception because we knew it would get cold at night in late October, but if we were there at a warmer time, the Barn would also be an amazing spot for a reception. Planning a wedding in two months was challenging, but booking Diamond Mills for our wedding venue was the best decision ever! We loved working with Stephanie, Carrie, and Brianne. They are highly organized and professional. Our wedding day was truly magical! Our guests had a wonderful time! We also really appreciate how the staff working on the day of our wedding ensured that my husband and I ate well (and remembered to eat as we interacted with our guests). The food served was delicious and we loved our wedding cake! Another great thing about booking the wedding at Diamond Mills is that the hotel is attached to the wedding venue - it was very convenient for us and our guests! We received a good discount for our hotel block. The wedding package they offer at Diamond Mills Hotel is truly well-rounded! Beautiful venue with indoor and outdoor spaces, catering, open bar, wedding cake, and supportive and amazing staff to help you plan your wedding and ensure that everything runs smoothly during the day of the wedding all for a reasonable price! I used some rental decorations, and the staff made sure to carefully pack everything at the end of the night, so shipping and packing up the following day was easy! We highly recommend Diamond Mills!

I cannot say enough to praise Kerri and Frank for their beautiful space, their attention to detail, their immense care and love for the work that they do and for every single person who enters their space. Kerri's precision and focus is unmatched and you truly feel like the only person in the room when you speak to her. Every single question went answered and each detail attended to with precision. The food here is immaculate and even a month later people continue to ask me to ask Chef Charlie for his recipes. The words "hidden gem" have never meant more than for this venue. I cannot recommend this enough and will forever be shouting from the rooftops that Kerri is a true dream maker. If you tell her exactly what you want, she will make it happen. It will still take work on your end but it will all be worth it. If you meet the deadlines she sets, you will have a smooth and seamless planning process.

From the moment we pulled up to Timber Lake Camp and saw the mountain views we knew we wanted our wedding there. The views and grounds are absolutely beautiful. We knew we wanted to be able to have time to spend with all of our family and friends and TLC allowed us to do just that. Meredith was AMAZING throughout the entire planning process, always answering our emails in a timely fashion and willing to schedule a call for us. She helped us coordinate visits to the camp before our big day so we could plan accordingly. We were able to arrive (with family) on Thursday to start setting up everything for the weekend, which was great because it allowed us to have some time on Friday to relax before all our guests started to arrive. One of the great things about TLC is you can make the wedding into anything you would like it to be, granted it takes a lot of extra work, planning, and coordination, but I would not have changed a thing. Our guests have not stopped raving about how thoughtful all of the details we put into the wedding were and how much the venue represented us a people and a couple. The TLC staff were absolutely incredible the weekend of our wedding. From the moment guests arrived, they were greeted at the front gate, given directions on parking, and then provided transportation via golf cart to their cabins. Everyone had such a great time at the camp. Reggie and Sheila (and other staff) made us DELICIOUS meals throughout the weekend that everyone enjoyed! Scott was amazing in helping coordinate all of the events for the weekend and making sure everything ran smoothly. Special shout out to Willow for his support and assistance with everything and anything that came up during the weekend! At all points there were golf carts around to transport our guests anywhere they needed to go, whether it was to the bonfire Friday and Saturday nights, the golf course, the kickball game Saturday morning, to/from ceremony, or just getting around the camp, someone was there to help. We chose to open the waterfront for Saturday (an extra fee), but was so worth it. Our guests had the best time going down the water slide, kayaking, and using the pool before the wedding. We cannot recommend TLC for your wedding weekend enough!

We could not be more thrilled with our choice of the Phoenicia Diner for our wedding. We frequent the diner after hikes or skiing so it was nice to have a place so special to us to share with our friends and family on this special day. Courtney and the team at the diner were so easy to work with - planning the menu, seating, music, and more. The regular diner food is amazing, but the event catering was unbelievable - our guests are still talking about it. Our wedding was around 100 guests and fit perfectly for dinner inside the diner and dancing outside. We couldn’t thank Courtney and the team more for taking such great care of us!

I could go on endlessly about how amazing the Maples Estate, and Katie and Louis are but I’ll try to keep it brief! From our first interactions with Katie, which was via a virtual tour, my husband and I knew there was something special here. We immediately booked an in-person tour, and once we stepped foot on the property we knew this was where we would get married. The estate itself is stunningly unreal. In the middle of the mountains, beautiful views all around, wild flowers in abundance, a beautiful river, the pavilion is a dream, and so many options for your event locations - all of which are magical. Our wedding party stayed with us in the house and we all felt so comfortable. With 17 of us in total it was awesome to have the space to be together comfortably as we played games or shared a meal. The getting ready room is beautiful, it is a fun space to prepare in and the photos will be epic. We added on partial planning to our contract, so we worked with Katie throughout our wedding preparations. Katie is fantastic! She made us feel so comfortable, which made it easy to collaborate. Katie made our design board, every time I shared it with a vendor the response was “oh my gosh did you make this?!” Katie’s design skills are amazing, organization is on point, she is calm and quick to respond, and her list of vendors is expansive and everyone we worked with was just as amazing as Katie and Louis. If you are thinking about the Maples Estate, go for it! We had a wedding that was so uniquely us and that was because Katie and Louis gave us the space to do so. At every point Katie embraced our ideas, embraced our family and friends, and allowed our relationship to be reflected in an amazing weekend. We are so grateful and lucky to have found them! We are rooting for a couples reunion event or something so we can visit them soon.

If you’re reading this review just stop and book your stay already, actually book 2 extra nights. My husband and I had a wild idea to host our family and friends here AND our wedding ceremony. Gigi, Matty, Brian, Angel, and others, are absolute legends and went above and beyond for us. This location can not be beat for a relaxing, rejuvenating, and peaceful visit. The team really went the extra mile to solve our planning problems (I had many) and made us feel like family. Some of the cabins are pet-friendly which meant the world to us as my father is blind and needs his seeing-eye dog to get around. We knew there would be no hassle having friends bring their dogs too! The rooms are cozy and accessible, for those with mobility issues there are walkways and cabins on flat ground. We dream about sitting around that camp fire with all our friends and family often and are forever grateful to have found Belleayre Lodge!!

We loved our wedding at ElmRock Inn! The venue is gorgeous and I had the time of my life. Staying onsite was amazing. I highly recommend ElmRock. The chef is fantastic and we will remember our wedding fondly for the rest of our lives. There were a few negatives during our stay, but we are still very glad that we got married at ElmRock. The first negative was that the water in the BnB and carriage house (where bride/groom stayed) kept running out at night. This was pretty annoying, but not a huge issue since the water was usually fine by morning. Second, the venue coordinator was pretty rude throughout the weekend and especially to my family. Many people at the wedding commented about how rude she was (and the fact that she wore white pants to our wedding!). The rest of the staff was nicer, though a couple of the servers were also rude, just not as bad. I expected the staff to be more accommodating and welcoming the entire weekend, but it really felt more like we were getting scolded at times. Lastly, they served my wedding cake really cold and had clearly forgotten to take it out of the fridge to get to room temperature before serving. That was quite frustrating, especially since I heard them talking about how I (the bride) needed to hurry up to start the cake cutting while I was changing, but the cake wasn't even ready! Overall, the venue is gorgeous and we had a lovely time. I think the experience would be improved by some updating to their plumbing and getting a coordinator that's nicer to their customers. The food was AMAZING and the chef is fantastic, just be warned if you're sensitive to people who can be rude/unaccommodating.

My husband and I had our wedding at Blenheim Hill Farm this past weekend 10/26/2024 and it was an absolute dream. Not only was it the dreamiest wedding because we got married in front of all of the people we love, but because of the absolutely beautiful venue and the team that brought it to life. Morten & Min, the owners were so helpful, kind and just the brightest lights from the moment we met them when we toured the venue through the planning phase and our wedding day. They clearly have a very buttoned up and efficient process, which showed the day of. Now let me talk about the rest of staff … they are AMAZING. We worked with Lawrence and Rosie the weeks leading up to our wedding and the day of and not only did they go above and beyond at their jobs, they truly seemed so happy to be there. There were a number of other team members behind the scenes that helped bring together a seamless wedding (we barely even noticed them - in a good way!) so thank you to the team. This includes the chefs cooking it up in the kitchen, while we didn’t see you … we were told by friends and family how delicious the food was / it was the best wedding food they ever had. The risotto…. Oh my was it delicious!! Another amazing benefit of Blenheim Hill Farm was their recommended babysitter, Victoria - she watched 5 of the kids who attended ceremony but not reception right on the grounds. She made arts and crafts and carved pumpkins with them! The parents and kids were very happy with her. Lastly, all we have to say is….. GET MARRIED HERE!!!!

I am not sure how to convey how truly amazing Danielle and her team are to work with to plan a wedding. We started working with Danielle in October for a June wedding and I cannot recommend her and SNGC more. We sat down in her office with no true vision and she helped us create the wedding of our dreams. We told her the items that were most important to us and she took it from there. We wanted to focus on heavy passed appetizers for the cocktail hour, a sit-down coursed dinner and lots of fun drinks…. and she nailed it so well that we had an ice sculpture espresso martini bar!! Danielle made the out of state planning process a breeze. She thought of everything; we were completely blown away when we showed up for our final meeting. No detail is left behind by her and her team. The day of was beyond memorable. I had to hold back tears when we got to see the room prior to the reception. The day of staff was extremely attentive and helpful to keep everything flowing on schedule. We have not stopped hearing from our guests about how amazing the food was, how stunning the room looked and how kind and helpful the entire staff was throughout the night. There is something to be said for having an entire wedding reception planned that is packed with a mind-blowing cocktail hour, 175 person sit down dinner, and lots of cocktails, with absolutely zero hiccups or stress. We have Danielle and the entire day of team to thank for that! The whole wedding was perfect and worth every dollar spent!

We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding. Amanda, Matt, Hanna, Casey, and all of the staff at the Log Cabin helped to make our wedding day as perfect as it could possibly be. They made the planning process so as smoothly and stress free as possible. Our day of coordinator Matt and his team helped to take every ounce of pressure off our shoulders the day of so that we could truly immerse ourselves in our guests and our experience. Everyone we worked with, especially Matt and Amanda, were professional, knowledgeable, kind, and fun! Matt and our head waitress Hanna even made it out on the dance floor with us.. I mean come on!! It can’t get much better than that. The interior and back exterior of the venue is what dreams are made of. The ceremony location over looking the Berkshires was perfection. The landscaping was the perfect backdrop for every one of our photos. The back patio that we had access to for cocktail hour and throughout our whole reception was unique and stunning. Finally, the sunset we got to experience from the patio was like nothing I have ever seen before. Thank you is an understatement
