My passion for photography grew when my daughter, Lotus, was born in 2004 and I began documenting her childhood with an eye toward catching each irreplaceable moment. Soon, friends and then friends of friends asked me to photograph their children and families. Before long, I was documenting the lives and milestones of people all over the DMV area. I realized how happy I was connecting with people and capturing special moments, and so I launched Lotus Photography in 2012 - named for my first muse. I fell in love with capturing weddings in 2017 and I have been hooked ever since!

By providing assistance and being “hands on” during the setup of mobile DJ equipment, assisting as an emcee and mixing during the events, DJ Theo was able to gather the necessary skills to begin a DJ career in the Washington D.C. Chantilly National Golf & Country Club has both indoor and outdoor facilities for a chic wedding ceremony or reception.
