Hi, I’m Kevin. I’m a husband, father, and lover of barbecue. For about 10 year’s my wife constantly asked me what my dream job was. Well, as a corporate accountant by trade, that was certainly not it. My wife knew. She bought my first smoker in 2010, and after a few years of studying and trying recipes and different cooking techniques, as well as rubs and sauces, I began to figure out what my wife knew all along. I’m meant to share my barbecue. This is my dream job.

I started off in birth photography and maternity shoots. I got asked to be a backup photographer for 2 weddings and fell so far in love with wedding and engagement photography, I had to add packages. I had so much fun and ended up making some great friendships doing so.

Hi! I'm Nina and I run Ivy & Quartz photography! I shot my first wedding in 2013, but my journey with photography began long before that. When I was about 10 years old, my dad gave me a camera and I quickly became obsessed. My intrigue continued to grow over the years and I went on to earn my BA in Studio Art , Photography, from the University of Virginia. After graduating I worked as a portrait photographer and decided to pursue and earn my MFA in Imaging Arts from the Rochester Institute of Technology.

When I am not behind the camera or editing photos, I enjoy short Uber rides to bottomless brunch on the weekends; right now mimosas and I kinda have a thing going on! I have a special relationship with bourbon and FIRMLY believe in putting food on the grill during late afternoons should be the norm. I am blessed to be married to the happiest person on earth (I am so serious), who just happens to double as my favorite person. She keeps me grounded and never fails to remind me how great she is.
