Let me start by saying my wedding was a tall order! I wanted a wedding that was gothic, elegant, Victorian-inspired, dark, and moody. We were going for gothic without it being “scare grandma” gothic! And to make it a step harder, our wedding was in a very modern looking building in Manhattan. And to make it even one step harder, my husband and I are based in Ireland. Lauren completely understood my vision and designed the most beautiful wedding I have ever seen. We had so many friends and family approach us about how beautiful the decor was, and even multiple members of staff and various vendors saying they have never seen the venue look so amazing. Her attention to detail is beyond phenomenal and everything is done with such thoughtfulness and due diligence. Lauren was so organised throughout the entire wedding planning process. She helped us look for the best vendors, she went to view different tablecloth landscapes and furniture when we couldn’t (again, we live abroad!) and kept me up to date every step of the way without bombarding us so we could continue to regulate life outside of wedding planning. I have recommended Lauren multiple times to newly engaged friends, and will continue to recommend City and Terrace in the future! I first heard about Abibi Bridal when I was assisting my best friend CakedbyMel assemble a wedding cake in New Hampshire in September 2023. Mind you, I was visiting my best friend in Boston for the weekend because it was her birthday. I live in New York, so I took a flight to Boston to spend time with her. My friend was hired to construct the wedding cake by Abibi Bridal because Abibi Bridal was booked as the wedding planner for the wedding. I was observing how Abbe was working with the vendors and the wedding party, and I was instantly impressed. I walked up to Abbe and told her; I am getting married next year, and I am going to book you to plan my wedding. Abbe said of course! I set up my consultation with Abbe and I booked her for her wedding coordination services immediately. I just knew Abbe and her team would execute. From when I booked Abibi Bridal at the beginning of October 2023, up until the day of the wedding, April 25, 2024, Abbe has been a blessing when it came to planning my wedding. Even though she was booked for wedding coordination, Abbe was so helpful, knowledgeable, patient, kind, and just overall amazing throughout the entire process. She knew exactly what vendors would work great with the vision I had. Abbe knows all the best vendors and has great relationships with so many amazing vendors, that you know the vendors will execute not only because they are dedicated to their craft, because of their relationship with Abbe and Abibi Bridal. Now let’s fast forward to the day before the wedding, Abbe and her team came down from Boston, and from the moment Abbe and her team arrived until the end of the wedding the following day, Abbe and her team were all hands on deck! When I say the level of professionalism Abbe and her team had is unmatched compared to other wedding planning teams I heard about. She was a shield from all the stress, questions, unsolicited advice, and energy that was heading my way. Words honestly cannot describe what Abbe and her team did for my wedding. She made everything so seamless and special. My advice to every upcoming bride is to book a wedding planner or wedding coordination because it will make the wedding planning process go so smoothly. Kaity did a great job, especially considering all the uncertainty of bad weather (my ceremony was outdoors) we had to all deal with. She always had an upbeat and positive attitude the whole time, which I know can be very difficult to do around my family. She definitely would just roll with all the punches to keep us on track. I was anxious the entire day, but Kaity reassured me that she had everything under control and I knew I could trust her. She even went out of her way to get me and my husband little care packages on the day of, with inspiring notes. The only hiccups I actually noticed was with announcements and speeches, because the volume and echo was not great, so people didn't know when things were actually happening, so I wish we could've told the DJ sooner to fix the issue. We had also wanted to have our dinners boxed up, because my husband and I were both too anxious and excited to really eat, so our food ended up being thrown away, plus we didn't receive the top tier of our wedding cake to save for the tradition thing (but my guess is because they served it all to the guests). Unfortunately, at the end of the night, we were super rushed to get everything out of the building, because of the time and the pouring rain- I was running around barefoot in my dress while my husband was passed out in the car, and I was one of the few trying to get everything packed and cleaned up. However, Kaity and her husband really helped us out by collecting all the left items and holding onto them for us until the next day. She kept in contact, since at least a month beforehand, to make sure we had everything in order and sent her all the vendor contacts , so she could be included with all the day-of plans. She really did go above and beyond to make sure I had the best day possible, and I really appreciated that from her. I would definitely hire her again.

Without Fernie, we aren't sure our wedding would have happened! We hired Fernie as our Day of Coordinator, and met with her several times via zoom to go over details. She reviewed our materials and created a timeline for our day. She asked questions that made us think about details we might have overlooked. She did a site visit with us, ran our rehearsal, and was with us every step of the way on our day. Our wedding did not go as plan, and on the fly we were able to create a back up plan. Fernie contacted all of our vendors, and we all managed to arrive at the location around the same time. Over all, we were lucky to have her on our team!

Steph was absolutely PHENOMENAL coordinating our day! She managed the daunting task of keep my husband and I, plus our crazy families, and just made our day absolutely perfect! We loved her up-beat personality and can-do attitude! We found her around 30 days before the day of, and she reassured me (I might of had a slight breakdown) that is was normal and completely fine. We had an unfortunate bump in the road when the venue let go of the manager we were working with, but Steph took charge and contacted our other vendors to ensure the day went off without a hitch, and she delivered! She set up our decorations, including our beautiful chuppah (pic included) and it was everything we imagined. It was absolutely perfect, and we couldn't be happier!
