I found my way behind the camera after years of art directing in the fashion industry in NYC. I always loved photography as it captures a moment in time, frozen forever. I photograph film in which I believe that is has a romantic dreamy elegance that only film can capture. I’m based in Honolulu,Hawaii, and I love to travel. Exploring the world to learn about new cultures, meet new people, get lost in a museum and drive the countrysides taking in the sublime sceneries around brings me joy.

I have been a serious and successful photographer in the portrait, wedding and fine art fields for over twenty years and while working in London, I was awarded a distinction by The Royal Photographic Society for my documentary portraits. I have also been awarded several merits of distinction and photography awards in the USA. Educated as an artist and photographer through The Brooks Institute of Photography, I was also fortunate enough to study under the late Ansel Adams and attended intensive workshops given by the top wedding photographers in the world including Jerry Ghionis, Parker Pfister, Brook Shaden, Cliff Mautner and Paulina Duczman.

I've been in love with art as far as I can remember. I started experimenting with different styles of photography, including fashion editorial, which helped me gain experience working with all aspects of a photoshoot, and building relationships with my clients and models. I pride myself on my constant desire to accommodate the distinct needs of each client I work with. I also stress the importance of having a meaning behind every shot I take. For me, it’s all about quality, not quantity. It feels amazing to be able to capture different emotions in every shot, and photography gives me the freedom to tell the story in an artistic way.
