  • Horrible Never Ending Experience

If I could give zero stars for the horrible experience that is working with Amara I would. Besides the horrendous communication which is in fact NO communication from Amara after paying, she is also running a FRAUDULENT business, failing to deliver on thousands of dollars worth of wedding albums for us and MANY more of her clients. Amara paints herself to be someone that she can not uphold to, she will pretend to be responsive until you pay and then will go months prior to and post wedding without answering a single message. We have felt like we have been robbed of the experience and we have in fact been robbed of THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS OF MONEY with no printed wedding album in return. While Amara can capture a nice photo, she should not be recognized by any publication for the terrible nature that she treats all of her clients. We are one of at least 5 couples with this same experience. Most people are not leaving reviews because they are still living in hopes that they will receive the product that they have paid for- she has no intention of doing this. DO NOT RECOMMEND

When we booked her, she was so impressive but after working with her she showed us that she was all talk. Amara ghosted us for 3 month leading up to our engagement shoot, which led us to emailing her again and again until a week before, she apologized for it which we forgave. Leading up to our wedding, she was also uncommunicative. The day of the wedding, she was great however, after has been a total NIGHTMARE. She went radio silent for months. We did not receive any deliverables on time. Our next day previews which the contract states we should have gotten, came 2 weeks later. Our album and prints AS LEGALLY CONTRACTED did not come in January as stated. It’s May and we still have not received it and Amara did not apologize nor even reply to our many many emails, calls, texts. We were fearful that she ran away with our money. I had to contact other clients who informed me of their same ongoing experience. Beautiful pictures, 0 professionalism, 0 communication. The distress is not worth the photos. After a phone call, in which Amara did not apologize for any contract breaches nor distress rather, blamed us, she then blocked us on all social media. The immaturity and regret I feel is innumerable. I don’t even have hope of getting our wedding album at this point- she presents as someone she cannot live up to.
