Fort Worden’s magnificent setting encompasses 434 acres with 12 miles of forested hiking trails, 73 historic buildings, four museums, commanding natural views, and two miles of walkable saltwater beaches, only two hours from SeaTac. With three outdoor ceremony locations, and five reception halls, there are spaces to fit every party. Facility rentals are available year-round with limited availability for weddings based on Rental and Program calendars. We can accommodate groups of 25 to 400. At least one overnight stay required for wedding events. Cabins are rustic, dorm-style, with 4 to 10 beds per room and separate bathhouses. Many buildings are heated and all within walking distance of the main hall, but some are open-air enclosed cabins. Our event spaces are large and suitable for big group meetings and activities. Outdoor ceremonies can be held throughout the grounds or in the main hall. Our 4,000-sf main dining hall has a large commercial kitchen.The in-floor heating system retains heat in the event of a winter power outage.
