Owners Tanya and Bob bought this tranquil gem of a property nestled on the Pilchuck River in 2014. After completing extensive renovations and landscaping work, they transformed it into the beautiful venue it is today and began hosting weddings in 2018. Nestled amongst thirty tranquil acres of our lush wooded private property, The Emerald Forest provides a stunning backdrop for a strikingly serene and cherished micro-wedding or elopement. We are just four miles east of downtown Redmond and fifteen miles east of downtown Seattle. Within the forest is the Emerald Forest Theater, built-in 2018 by Treehouse Master Pete Nelson. The Theater is a one-of-a-kind outdoor climb-in movie theater made up of a large seating area 15' off the ground, four box seat open-air pods, two "Kodama zome" elevating loungers (tree-levators!), two stories of hammock-like dream nets high in the trees, and projection onto the 16' screen hanging in the trees. The forest of hemlocks, cedars, and fir trees within a gorgeous carpet of green moss is truly one of the most beautiful forests in the world (or so we have been told dozens of times!).
