The oldest house in Philo (1888), it was Anderson Valley’s first post office and stagecoach stop that decades later was the Philo Pottery Inn. During the painstaking restoration we did using nearly all salvaged materials, its secrets and history began to resurface. We were constantly discovering little finds, over 200 1880's old glass bottles buried on the grounds to the headline clad 1915 newspaper lined walls in the main house. It’s been part remodel and archeological dig. Now it’s ready to host events & make fresh memories for decades to come. A few years ago we were lucky enough to add 20+ acres of open meadow lands & forest contiguous to TKO for events & glamping and built an amphitheater by Indian Creek in the woods. We can host up to 100 and have have 12 bedrooms in three fab houses, plus glamping tents. There are so many ways to utilize the property and also vintage trailers and wacky Japanese cars to get creative with. Come see for yourself and be part of its evolving history.

The adobe home itself dates to 1844; built originally as a cattle ranching headquarters, turned sheep ranch, and finally family estate before becoming a museum and historic site in the 1950s. In addition, the site is recognized as a local, state, and national historic landmark. Today, the gardens remain sensitive to Cornell’s landscape design, and many of the existing garden features have been maintained. We offer full catering through our neighboring sister restaurant Cibo Rustico with a menu featuring wood-fired pizzas, pasta, salads, desserts, and specialty dishes. Our max capacity is 120 guests, however, groups of about 50 guests work best in our space. An average price for an all-inclusive wedding with food, service, wine/beer, and all available extras you may want to add on is about $7000. Heritage Park is a historic site that is operated by the City of Santa Fe Springs. The City has restored the buildings and grounds of an elegant ranch that prospered here in the late 1800's. The park also tells the story of the original people of this region, the Tongva/Gabrieliño Indians, in a dramatic exhibit nestled within the trees on the park's west side. At the entrance, visitors are greeted by a railroad exhibit featuring a vintage A.T.& S.F. steam locomotive. Julia Morgan was a world renowned female architect who designed more than 700 buildings in California. She was the first woman admitted entrance to Beaux-Arts De Paris, the most prestigious architectural school in the world at the time and in 1904, Morgan became the first woman to obtain her architect license in California. In 1922 she did an extensive remodel of property, while concurrently working on Hearst Castle. This included adding the Conservatory, the present day Sky Suite, the Fireplace mantel in the Ballroom, and more. To preserve her legacy and beautiful additions, the Lewis' honored all of Morgan's original designs since restoring the home from 2016-2019.

The Oakland Scottish Rite Center was completed in 1927, with over a thousand craftsmen working on the project. The construction cost was approximately $1.5 million. This was a sizeable sum at the time equivalent to about $22 million today. From ground breaking to completion the edifice was erected in just two years. Established in 1916, it was once where working class Italian Americans gathered to focus on sports, dances, celebrations, family and community. Our recent 105-year anniversary called upon us to look back at all we have endured: the 1918 Flu, the Great Depression, WWII, 9/11 and now the 2020 Coronavirus Pandemic. We have always stuck together to support families and artistic expression in our community – even in the toughest of times.

Welcome. Built-in 1886 for William and Bertha Haas, the House is an exuberant example of Queen Anne-style architecture. The Haas and Lilienthal families occupied the house until 1973. It then went into the trust of San Francisco Heritage, a non-profit architectural and cultural preservation organization that turned it into a museum and event venue for the enjoyment of the community. In 2012, the House was designated a National Treasure by the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
