I got married here at the beginning of June and it was the best day of my life and Forgotten Barrel definitely made it an amazing day. When I first came here to tour the place, Alyssa made me feel like a bride and not just another person looking for a venue. She was easy to work with and definitely was one of the many selling points of picking this venue for our wedding. The day itself was flawless and all our guests had a great time here. We also came at a perfect time of the year because all the flowers were blooming and the place looked extra beautiful. I definitely recommend this place you won't regret it!

We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding! The ceremony lawn is absolutely gorgeous, and it was surreal to be married surrounded by lush flowers and towering bamboo. The reception space is beautiful and modern looking with beautiful lighting and an abundance of plants that make the area feel so warm and inviting. During the event and well after, our guests were gushing over how unique and picturesque our venue was! Our absolutely favorite part of the venue was working with Jonathan and Jessie! They are so down to earth, sweet and incredibly accommodating and felt like instant friends. If you are on the fence on hiring the Wedding Crashers, DO IT! They were a huge hit with our guests and now my husband and I are plotting ways to get some goats of our own! 10/10 Recommend having your wedding at The Brothers Ranch! You will have incredible pictures and beautiful memories that will last a lifetime!

We did not use The Knott to find this venue but we had such an amazing experience we had to share. The venue itself, the first thing you see is a modern foodhall / full bar with a large variety of restaurants. If youre staying at the hotel connected, it was such a great place to hangout with your bridal parties before everything starts. Moving along to the even areas, the ceremony room gives off a modern barn yard style venue and it's such a pleasant contrast from what you initially see when first walking in which really adds to the "wow" factor when entering the room. The cocktail hour area is amazing as well and after we gifted some of our items, they will now have Cornhole and a beer cart available! The area itself is wide open with great seating areas as well. The reception is another instance where the contrast is such a difference from the food hall downstairs, it once again adds so much to that jsw drop reaction. We were approached multiple times complementing how "cool" this venue was and it was definitely a true compliment. Now the venue wouldn't be anywhere with out the staff and I can not say enough great things about them. The entire time was courteous, professional and really give they sense that they want to make sure you have your special day as one to remember. Specifically wanted to shout out our amazing coordinator - Brianna, banquet captain - Lee j and Dj - Rhy's. These three went above and beyond for us and it seemed like that was just their normal demeanor. Brianna made sure we had nothing to worry about and made every part of the planning process a breeze. Lee J was also always checking in appropriately often to ensure we were never left wanting, thirsty or hungry. Rhy's was also great to work with, we had a very specific request with music which ended up having my wife and I take part in a lightsaber fight to two different versions of starwars music - Duel of the Fates, and he handled it masterfully. All in all, 10/10 can not recommend enough.

We provide a full-service wedding experience that you and your guests will enjoy from start to end. Our all-outdoor venue provides everything you could dream of - stunning natural beauty, convenient location and mouth-watering catering.

Venue considerations

  • Not for you if you prefer a more modern aesthetic
  • No on-premises lodging options
  • Additional event staff required
We held our wedding reception at Saratoga Springs in the Cathedral Grove region of the venue on a Saturday in October. After visiting them for a walkthrough, we booked this venue about a year and a few months in advance. This was the first venue we visited and we fell in love! We felt a great family-like vibe from the staff, starting with Jennifer who coordinated our initial booking and tour. Throughout our time preparing for this event, Olivia and Sam were extraordinary in their communication, response time, and knowledge of these events. They did a wonderful job in helping us understand what we needed vs. what we wanted and good decisions to make. They never tried to upsell us on more expensive options, always letting us know the best value for what we wanted. Throughout this process, we knew we had made the right choice in terms of staff. Scenically, Saratoga Springs is stunning! An outdoor venue with several different species of large trees like oaks and redwoods, many small creeks that run through and around the venue, and several amenities included such as lights that wrap around the trees, a firepit, and artificial turf that you can actually wear high heels on! We were in love with the scenery immediately because our reception was LOTR/Legend of Zelda themed and this was perfect for us. Throughout the actual event, the Saratoga Springs staff was excellent. They assisted us and our own day of wedding coordinators in running the event and making sure we had everything that they could provide. Our reception was during a brutal heat wave in the Bay Area, but Cathedral Grove had so many large trees that the shade they provided meant the floor never got hot and it felt more like 75 degrees which was SO essential for the comfort of ourselves and our guests. Everything was great, and we give the venue and their staff a 10/10. There was one glaring issue we want to address. The DJ we booked, Paul Dominguez, was a very nice man. He seemed to be on top of it, being in constant communication with us leading up to the event. We felt that he was going to do a great job. Yet, when it came time for the event, he made SEVERAL mistakes in what we asked him to do that we felt the need to address this situation and performance. He is part of the approved vendor list for DJs but we honestly feel Saratoga Springs needs to either reevaluate him or discuss this with him because literally everything else about the night was perfect for us, except him. Again, he is a nice guy and even provided cold sparklers for us for free which we really appreciated, but the lack of attention to detail in several aspects of this night was something we felt we needed to address here. Overall, Saratoga Springs is an excellent venue choice for a big event like a wedding/reception and we are happy to recommend anyone looking for a venue. We had an amazing experience for our reception and we are very satisfied with the staff and scenery of this venue.

My husband and I got married at Redwood Ranch in May of 2022. It was absolutely perfect! The hosts were great to work with, and even though it's in a remote location, we were able to find amazing vendors (with some suggestions from the hosts and some on our own) to create a weekend that was just perfect. It's such a magical place to share with your loved ones. We had our rehearsal dinner, wedding, and day after brunch all on property and just got to swim and play all weekend long. I wish we could do it again every year. It's truly a beautiful, special place that you and your guests will never forget.

The oldest house in Philo (1888), it was Anderson Valley’s first post office and stagecoach stop that decades later was the Philo Pottery Inn. During the painstaking restoration we did using nearly all salvaged materials, its secrets and history began to resurface. We were constantly discovering little finds, over 200 1880's old glass bottles buried on the grounds to the headline clad 1915 newspaper lined walls in the main house. It’s been part remodel and archeological dig. Now it’s ready to host events & make fresh memories for decades to come. A few years ago we were lucky enough to add 20+ acres of open meadow lands & forest contiguous to TKO for events & glamping and built an amphitheater by Indian Creek in the woods. We can host up to 100 and have have 12 bedrooms in three fab houses, plus glamping tents. There are so many ways to utilize the property and also vintage trailers and wacky Japanese cars to get creative with. Come see for yourself and be part of its evolving history.

Why you'll love this venue

We are Jenni Grubba Events and we stayed at Knotty Oak in order to gauge interest for a client of ours and I am so excited to plan weddings here! Mary spent so much quality time with us showing us the spaces, making us yummy cocktails, and just hanging out. I've never experienced a warmer welcome to a venue that we did with Mary. The houses are immaculate, rustic, so cozy, and the kitchen is huge. The event spaces are plentiful and the venue is so flexible with how you use them. You cannot go wrong planning your wedding here. Lean into the pros and you'll have the best time ever!

The venue is absolutely stunning—our guests couldn’t stop raving about the breathtaking mountain views and greenery. The two ceremony sites and cocktail area offer incredible backdrops for photos with the gorgeous mountain landscape. The reception space was exactly what we envisioned for our day, with the string lights and vineyards all around it made for a magical evening. The bridal and groom suites were perfect, the bridal suite had multiple vanity stations and lots of natural light and mirrors which made it perfect for getting ready, and the groom’s suite was the perfect party room pre-ceremony for the groomsmen and bridesmaids. We had an absolutely wonderful experience using Glenn Ranch as our wedding venue this September. We were originally drawn to the rural-yet-close to town location, the awesome old barn, and Lori and Mark's laid-back approach. The location is great, you get the feeling of being away from it all while still being 10 minutes from Petaluma, which was so so helpful for out-of-town guests. Lori and Mark took care of so many of the details: tables, tablecloths, chairs, speakers, signs, couches, and they have a ton of decor items to use. Having all of those items included in the rental of the venue greatly simplified the planning process, saved us money, and made remembering all of the little details way less stressful. We really appreciated being able to use our own vendors and having Jenny as a coordinator to run planning questions by. Lori was super flexible and accomodating when it came to setting up and cleaning up after the event. Having the venue for four days gave us plenty of time to set up and clean up. Her and Mark even helped us meticulously hang 17 flower garlands from the barn door, making sure they were evenly spaced, the whole thing turned out looking amazing! Jenny took care of all the final decor touches and vendors day-of so we as the bride and groom really didn’t have to worry about a thing except our vows and enjoying ourselves! Thank you Lori, Mark, and Jenny for your had work and for helping our special day go off without a hitch!

The Red Barn Ranch was truly our dream wedding venue. Not only is it rustic and beautiful but it radiates love and family. The Rorabaugh's are the most down to earth and loving hosts you could ever hope for. They are there for you when you need but they also allow you a lot of freedom to create the exact experience you want. And they work hard to accommodate whatever you need for your special day. For example, she allowed me to have alpacas at our wedding and talked to the Alpaca handler about the best way to get in and set up so I didn't have to. Our wedding was a dream; from the rehearsal dinner at the venue and staying in the bridal suite, to the hustle of getting ready, to walking down the aisle and finally to dancing the night away. The accommodations were unparalleled and the venue is so beautiful, it saved me tons on florals and decor. Also when booking this venue, you get access on Friday and don't have to be gone until 3 the following Sunday. They also allow guests to camp in tents or bring RVs. This was one of my favorite parts about our wedding. A lot of my family stayed in their RVs and the morning after the wedding, it was the cutest and most fun little camp site. The proprietor woke in the morning to feed their cows and invited my little cousins to join. They also brought out their horses and my niece got to ride a horse for the first time. The pond is an adorable hang out spot where they allow catch and release fishing and rides around in the canoe plus it is an amazing background for pictures. My little nephews were having the best time chasing frogs and catching fish. When you book your wedding or other special event with Red Barn Ranch, you are not going to be disappointed. You are booking the most perfect experience with some of the most wonderful and caring people.

Longshadow Ranch Winery was a beautiful venue for our wedding day. For the price, you can't beat the lush location that allowed us to fully customize the event to our liking without the venue dictating how our special day would flow. Dave was amazing to work with throughout the planning process and really made us feel we had the freedom to craft the wedding of our dreams. The only hiccups were some communication issues with the office staff in the final two months leading up to the big day regarding payments and contract details. While delayed, after contacting Dave on this matter, we did eventually get responses to email inquiries but a phone call option would have been preferred for timely resolutions. Overall, it was a beautiful venue and great value, we just wish the communication was more consistent in those important final weeks. Everything was 5 stars, unfortunately the communication, which I value a great deal, was the only lacking quality. Which, if this is the only area to improve, I think this speaks to the overall quality of the venue. Note: I would give 4.5 if I could!

Sydalyn Hill, and its owners, Gwyn and Jon, are simply amazing. The venue itself is gorgeous and hidden in plain site. It's just a little bit off of Highway 9, but it feels like you've arrived in heaven when you get there. At the same time it is, paradoxically, expansive and yet completely intimate. I've dj'd there on a couple of occasions, and both times it felt like there was magic in there air. I know this is full of superlatives, but I can't say enough good things about this place. Gwyn and Jon are delightful and highly professional. They make sure everything is in place and have a high attention to detail. Both are extremely nice and easy to work with. Anyone considering getting married in the Santa Cruz area owes it to themselves to have a look at this gem.

Circle Oak Ranch isn’t just a venue—it’s a family that genuinely cares about its couples. The moment my now husband and I stepped onto the property, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding, it felt like home! The magic of Circle Oak isn’t just in the breathtaking venue; it’s in the people who make it so special. The team’s professionalism, warmth, and genuine care were evident from day one, and it was their support that made our experience truly exceptional. Our wedding day was nothing short of magical. The attention to detail was extraordinary, and it was the little things that made the day run so smoothly. From the ceremony to the reception, every moment was executed perfectly. Our guests continue to rave about how much they loved our venue and our wedding! A special shout-out to our wedding coordinator, Kendra. Kendra guided us through every event of the day with such grace and always seemed to know exactly what we needed, even before we did! As a bride, the emotional rollercoaster was real, but Kendra kept me grounded and helped me enjoy every moment to the fullest. Her support didn’t just ensure our wedding ran smoothly; it made me, my husband, our bridal party, and our families feel truly cared for! To everyone at Circle Oak Ranch, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for making our wedding day a dream come true. I found Whispertree (formerly Bell Valley Retreat) when I was looking for a retreat/camping wedding setting for our Spring wedding. It was that and so much more! The accommodations exceeded all expectations-- beautiful, modern, eco-friendly, luxurious, and colorful! Our guests raved about the design and the comfort. Frida was so personable and helpful throughout the whole process; she made us feel like family. We got the best photographs because she showed us the secret spots up on the hill at golden hour! We arrived a day early to settle in and didn't want to leave on Sunday. The nature was magical-- especially our late-night bonfire under the stars after hours of dancing in the Barn. Oh yeah, and there's a hot tub! We cannot wait to return and re-visit the memories of our favorite weekend in our new favorite place. Highly recommend the venue, the staff, the vendor recommendations (especially Pilon Catering and Boontberry Farm). Zero complaints.

Where to even start!? Miller's Landing was the most amazing venue starting from our initial visit when we first toured. They have been nothing but kind, patient, and helpful throughout the entire wedding process. My husband and I just got married in September 2024, and it was absolutely beautiful and everything we could have hoped for. We got married when the California fires had us all concerned that our wedding could even happen...Kellan, Terri, and the Miller's Landing team were especially amazing then. Kellan, the one I was in contact with the months leading up to the wedding was so responsive. She answered emails quickly and very thoroughly. She gave great suggestions and tips for our day. Terri, was so kind during the visits and made us feel at home right away. The venue is absolutely gorgeous, and the barn makes for an intimate and warm reception. Our month of/day of coordinator Ashly was also amazing. She made sure everything ran smoothly the entire day. We did not have to worry about one thing the entire day, and it made the getting ready portion of the day so memorable and relaxing. Our cocktail hour/reception was so fun. The bartenders from R&B Mixing Co were awesome and had our guests happy. The appetizers, dinner, and late night snacks provided by Fox in the Woods (venues caterer) was absolutely delicious. We still have people telling us it was the best wedding food they have had. Overall, our wedding was truly the best day, and we just want Miller's Landing to know how much we appreciate them. We would recommend this venue a million times! My husband, is a wedding videographer and was very picky when we toured wedding venues, and his expectations were met and exceeded. Thank you Miller’s Landing! photo cred: @brettandtori

We had a great experience with Trademark at GG. It’s a semi all inclusive venue so they provided a planner (we had Courtney, she was great!) set up meetings throughout the planning process to go over timeline, details & food. The food was amazing as well! We did family style. The venue was stunning, especially at night. I highly recommend working with Trademark at any of their venues.
