Foxen Canyon Ranch is a working cattle ranch tucked away on over 200 acres. We are located on the Santa Ynez Valley wine trail, just 30 minutes north of Santa Barbara. A striking white barn welcomes you and your guests as you arrive. Open gardens, expansive lawns and century old oaks, provide the perfect atmosphere for any event. There are infinite possibilities for events of different sizes, levels of grandeur or intimacy with plenty of interior and outdoor spaces. The ranch is designed to be the canvas for your unique creation and ideas.

Hands down best venue!!!! The grounds are beautiful and breathtaking getting married under the trees it seemed like I was in a dream everything was beautiful but all that aside the people who own and run the venue are the absolute best people ever they are kind and caring. You can tell how much they love seeing love and sharing their family property. They made sure every moment went so smooth and were so so helpful every step of the way. They make the venue complete you can feel the love and hard-work that flows through this beautiful venue.

This venue and the owners are so, so wonderful! Their venue is nestled in the heart of Santa Ynez Valley and the property has breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains, it’s magical! The location for hosting your wedding or event is the most perfect balance between rustic charm and vintage elegance. You will be more than happy to celebrate your special moments here and will make for a lifetime of beautiful memories with your loved ones.

Working with Foxen Canyon Ranch was the best decision we made, hands down. They are professional, courteous, their attention to detail is unmatched and their venue is sparkling clean and a dream space to design and plan a wedding in. They made it easy for vendor load in and load out. The venue has a lot of added bonuses like gas fire pits with seating, Edison lights over their built in bar with a bar back that could easily accommodate 4 or more bartenders for a large wedding. The outdoor space had string lights and up lights around the patio. The finished bar is a complete blank space to dream up the perfect reception in and the grounds allow for social distancing or events and ceremonies to be 100% outside. Their landscaping is neutral and allowed the floral designer to incorporate any color with ease. The caterer loved the private driveway and space they created for them to pull into and unload the food and beverage. We didn't encounter any long haul fees, which we have seen with other venues. They are tucked away and allow for a completely private event. If you are looking for a garden, ranch, industrial vibe- Foxen Canyon Ranch is a hidden gem amongst wedding venues in Santa Ynez. We highly recommend them!

Yes, we provide a Bar. The rest is up to you and your vendors.

We provide parking for immediate family and vendors. Your guests will enjoy shuttle services provided by you. We are happy to connect you with many of the areas finest vendors.

You have the time to make your event special. For a weekend event enjoy ranch access from Thursday night until Monday morning . Options are available for a rehearsal dinner or a morning after brunch. we provide the facility, gardens and lawn, electrical, lighting, bar area, 3 separate gas fire pits and more.

although we are fully insured you will be responsible to carry an insurance rider. These are not expensive and we can help you obtain one.

we are located about 30 minutes from Santa Barbara. We are in the heart of the Santa Ynez wine trail.

Booking fees for our facilities, and all payments made including deposits, are non-refundable. If you cancel your event within 40 days of your booked date, we’ll bill you the full amount of all estimated charges.

Yes, all our facilities are wheelchair accessible. Keep in mind that much of the open areas are hard packed gravel.
