Appalachian View provides stunning eastern and western views of the Blue Ridge Mountains from the south side of Sugar Mountain. As natives to North Carolina and these mountains, Cathy and Dale Buchanan have enjoyed this area for years - a cabin, time with family and friends, hiking the Appalachian Trail... Here we have hosted weddings for special people in our lives. Consequently, we decided to build on these 75 acres a venue to be able to share this beautiful location with others. We think this is the quintessential place to start your lives together, and are very excited to be able host your wedding ceremony and precious memories.

The Tony & Helen Morris Hellenic Cultural Center (The MHCC) is a beautifully appointed Asheville Event Venue located within 5 minutes of downtown in the historic Montford District, with wide streets and a canopy of trees. We host private parties, wedding receptions and rehearsal dinners, as well as private parties for families, high school reunions and corporate functions. Homewood, a special event venue in Asheville, NC, is an ideal destination for rehearsal dinners, weddings, receptions, and gatherings. Homewood is a beautifully restored 1920s stone manor located in Asheville's post-Victorian historic district of Montford. The elegant castle was originally built as a private home. The elegance of the 1920s luminesces from original wrought iron chandeliers and alabaster sconces, casting graceful lighting from the 20-foot ceilings of the Great Room to the original hardwood floors, cherry walls, and grand Appalachian stone fireplaces. Conveniently located within a mile of downtown Asheville, Homewood offers 200 free, designated parking spaces, and is located in a neighborhood setting. The Great Room seats 110 people for dinner, or up to 150 with cocktail seating, with space for dance floor and DJ or band. Homewood is fully handicap-accessible. The beautiful and lush surrounding grounds provide additional outdoor space, including our garden ceremony site.

In 1929, Jean-Pierre Auguste Dalmas, a Waldensian immigrant from Villar Pellice, Italy, started construction on the dairy barn on his property in Valdese, NC. After the barn had been completed, work began on the main house. He built a rock veneered masterpiece, large enough to house his 7 children. He cleared a field for a vineyard and until his death in 1972 (at the age of 92), he made wine in the basement of the main house every autumn.

The Mill at Rock Creek is set to be Boone's newest and most exciting Wedding Venue and Event Center. Located less than 5 miles from downtown Boone, The Mill at Rock Creek offers over 6000 indoor square feet of exquisite space set in the mountains. A giant water wheel feeds a tumbling rock creek that wraps around the venue and a gorgeous outdoor patio. The Historic Bristol Virginia Post Office is a wedding and event facility located in downtown Bristol Virginia. This historic building was built in 1933 and restored in 2021. The building offers historic charm with elegance and sophistication as the backdrop for your wedding or event.
