The Blossom Barn is a historical farm built in 1832 by the Steckel family. It was once a state of the art dairy farm. They sold Steckel Dairy products. The dairy barn was one of many barns and outbuildings here on the 100+ acres. The original dairy barn burned down and this one we restored was built in the early 1900's. We were able to restore all of these buildings on the property, the dairy barn, the white livestock barn, milk-house, chicken coop and the two silos attached to the dairy barn. Our venue is truly one of a kind, unlike any other venue around! The 9-hole Sunblest Golf Course existed from the beginning of time until 1989. The current 18 hole facility of River Glen has been in existence since 1990 and shall remain till the end of time. A more detailed history and study of River Glen is currently being conducted by the Flowers anthropology group. Findings will be posted as discoveries are made. River Glen Country Club, located along the White River just minutes north of Indianapolis in Fishers, is an excellent facility to host your next event. The LEX 530 building was once the home of Pacemaker Trailer Co., one of the earliest RV companies in Elkhart.
