Out at the Vintage Rose Barn, one can enjoy all of the beauty mother nature has to offer and the charm of the countryside while still being easily accessible no matter what direction one is coming from. Whether it's in the bloom of the spring with blossoms of 120-year-old lilacs and daffodils to summer when the trees are a lush green with night skies filled with twinkling fireflies and falling stars, or in the fall when the colors burst into an enchanting sight. This peaceful 5-acre property is filled with beauty. There are 200-300 year trees that fill the property with beauty; one is wired to hold three chandeliers to light for a romantic day/evening.

Later, as rural schools consolidated, the school was expanded in 1938 into a two room schoolhouse. The Old Winery is nestled in the huge wine cellars of the Lawton Lions Heritage Community Center in the village of Lawton.
